The BEST marinara sauce. Tastes better than most home made sauces!!! YUM!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Delicious - our favorite go to

Everyone has their own favorite sauce so it’s tough to describe why one prefers this but here’s what I love- the sauce has a great balance of seasonings - nothing over powering. It tastes light and has delicious tomato flavor. They use some San marzano tomatoes which provides a richness. I’ve made my own sauce using organic San marzano tomatoes but find that they are a bit strong tasting on their own. It seems like blending with other tomatoes is a perfect balance. I’ve tried all of the flavors and love them all

5.0 out of 5 stars Smooth, flavorful, real Italian sauce!!

Omg,I make homemade sauce for my Italian husband and it is good.Having said that I have to say this sauce is better. It is smooth, not too acidic. You won't regret buying this.I put it on spaghetti noodles and cooked Italian sausage in some of it.Both were great!

4.0 out of 5 stars best ready-made sauce available

We love this sauce for its simpleness and great San Marzano tomato flavor. There were some batches that we received that seem better than others, but I guess that can happen. We generally like to make our own sauce, but when we're in a hurry, this is a great alternative. Definitely recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars The best sauce imaginable

I found this product at an Earth Fare store which is an hour from where I live. It retails for about $10 per jar. At first, I thought this was a lot to spend on spaghetti sauce, but after trying it one time, it was worth every penney and more! This is absolutely the most wonderful marinara I have EVER tasted. It is like you just made it yourself from fresh ingredients. The flavor is awesome. It does not taste like pre-made spaghetti sauce at all. I couldn't get back to the health food store recently, so I bought something I thought would be similar. No comparison. I can get more of this heavenly sauce at Bolo and glad I won't have to drive two hours round trip. If you love a tomatoey, fresh, natural marinara sauce, give this a try. The tomatoes are imported from Italy and grown in the foothills of Mt. Vesuvius. I gave jars of sauce for Christmas presents this year. I can't wait to try all the flavors, but right now, the garlic marinara is my favorite. You won't go back to those other sauces again! Absolutely the best available. :)

5.0 out of 5 stars My go-to jarred sauce!

M.M. · March 22, 2021

I eat A LOT of tomato sauce, and while I sometimes make my own from scratch, I usually use jarred sauce as a base for making a meat sauce for pasta or pizza. Over the years, I've tried them all, and after discovering it a few years ago, Cucina Antica has become my go-to brand. It has a very "clean" taste to it--not a lot added to it, not over seasoned (I like to add my own seasonings). I almost always get the 32 ounce size, and usually get their Tomato Basil variety, but I also get the Garlic Marinara from time to time, as well as other varieties. It's expensive, as jarred sauces go, but IMO worth it; I usually wait until Whole Foods has it on sale--which it does often enough--and then stock up on it. Unfortunately, it's apparently very popular (!), especially when on sale, and the shelves are often bare by the time I get to Whole Foods. But when it's available, I often go home with or order 3 or 4 jars at a time. I highly recommend.

3.0 out of 5 stars I'm no fan of jarred sauces, and I'm strictly in the $2-7 experience level

...but this wouldn't surprised me selling for 3 bucks. Sorry, breaking the seal it smelled same-ol same-ol, as in store brand and its ilk that fills supermarkets aisles. And the taste - I put not much on some nice, and fresh (an' spensive) spinach and cheese ravioli from here - and got through it. I'm gonna have same this week, but with my own gen-u-ine spicy spajetti sauce with this store's hot Ital-ian sausages, which I absolutely love, but only on sale. I used to use jarred stuff as a base when I was much younger and stupider, but Hunts canned tomatoes and sauces and paste can be imbibed with 2-8 toss-ins, some spices, and a small batch can be pretty quick. So the ravioli will be a treat and I'll make my own sauce, thanks.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best ever!

I usually buy Raos or 365 brand, and I tried this on sale. I don't think I'll ever buy another brand of spaghetti sauce besides this one. It is so clean tasting, the flavor and quality is beyond compare.

This is ridiculous!!
