Mine also had a few broken pieces when I recieved it but it doesnt bother me because i expect it. Its chalk and its very fragile. I used to be a teacher and sometimes just setting he chalk down on the base of the chalkboard it would break. So going between multiple states and carriers why wouldn't I expect it to have. a few broken pieces. It didnt affect the use of it. I still was able to use all the pieces. Seems like good enough quality for what I was looking for. I just wanted it to write down my meals on my menu chalkboard as well as items needed or reminders on my small blank kitchen chalkboard. If your looking for chalk that is vibrant in color then this is not it. The color is just like all other chalk, that I have personally used. Its light, like a pastel and it's very "dusty". But again, everybkimd of chalk I've ever used has been the same. Their may be a kind out there that is more vibrant and not so dusty but I just uavrnt used it. Overall I think this is a good deal! I didnt see anything else, at hr time, that was this good of a price fot 2 packs, 1 white and 1 color. If and when I need more I would definitely buy this again. The shipping was also fast!

As expected.. while going through them some were broken in half but i think that could be the case even if you were to buy them in store somewhere. Great price for both. Probably better for kids with their little hands as I kept breaking them in half while drawing on a chalkboard.

The pieces are a good size for easy gripping, which is great for little hands. However, I found that the chalk breaks easily, even with gentle use, which can be frustrating when you're in the middle of drawing. Some sticks arrived broken in the box, which was a bit disappointing. The dust can also be a bit much, but that’s expected with chalk. Overall, it’s fun to use, but I wish it was more durable.

It works it’s chalk . But more of the chalk sticks were broken than not broken. More than half were broken. I just figured I’d keep them instead of doing a return. It’s more of a hassle with a return. But they won’t stay in my chalk holder because they are broken . Especially the colored ones they were broken into several small pieces.

I’d suggest buying chalk at a store versus online at least can see if the chalk is broken
Nit impressed at all the white chalk was all broken in little pieces the colour chalk was fine but like I said the white all little pieces so completely useless for my 3yr old granddaughter not very happy at all very disappointed she was sad as she got a new chalkboard for Christmas I mean still has coloured chalk but of course she wanted the white
