There are definite TABOO topics in the United states that most people avoid despite the First Amendment (Freedom Of Speech). Any ONE of these topics can make you into a social outcast: Politics, Nationalism (Patriotism), Sex, Sports, & last, but definitely not least of all, Religion. ZEITGEIST The Movie does such a good job on dissecting Middle Eastern, monotheistic, mutually-exclusive, & thusly murderous, religions, that one might wonder WHY these idiotic religions based on the mentally-challenged and invisible god YHWH/Yahweh/Jehovah/Jesus/Allah continue to plague mankind. Despite the arguments in ZEITGEIST, RELIGULOUS, & The INVENTION OF LYING, Judaism, Christianity, Mormonism, Islam are all still going strong. How can this BE? It is certainly NOT because there is any verifiable proof. As Harlan Ellison so succinctly put it, "No, I don't believe in God. I'm not a moron. I have to have some proof of something." If YOU are a True Believer reading this review, then I'll have to make this argument a bit clearer:Tell a devout Christian [or True Believer in ANY Religion] that his wife is cheating on him, or that frozen yogurt can make a man invisible, and he is likely to require as much evidence as anyone else, and to be persuaded only to the extent that you give it. Tell him that the book he keeps by his bedside was written by an invisible deity who will punish him with fire for eternity if he fails to accept its every incredible claim about the universe, and he seems to require no evidence whatsoever. (Sam Harris)So why is it that these "incredible" beliefs persist??? Have you ever noticed that most Jews are raised by Jews, most Christians are raised by Christians, most Mormons are raised by Mormons, and most Hindus are raised by Hindus? That's because ALL religions rely on ONE WAY to get "new converts"----BRAINWASHING young children. As Thomas Edison noted, "The great trouble is that the preachers get the children from 6 to 7 years of age, and then it is almost impossible to do anything with them. Incurably religious----that's the best way to describe the mental condition of so many people. Incurably religious." RELIGION is the BRAINWASHING of little children before they're old enough to know any better. Simply put, RELIGION is CHILD ABUSE.ZEITGEIST and RELIGULOUS and The INVENTION OF LYING are all well worth seeing, BUT if YOU are a True Believer in an invisible god, then you won't be convinced by reasoned argument and rationality. Zeitgeist leads, but does not insist that you follow. Moments in the film seem completely detached from reality; that is, until you follow up with research sourcing fact to the ostensibly false claims. Once you allow yourself to be open to the idea that you've been intentionally propagandized by eurocentric capitalist world views, you begin to see clearly. Engaging in any politically motivated discourse, I recommend this film and the addendum to my opponent. It has managed to, in two hours, say exactly what I struggle to convey; more eloquently and intentionally than I ever could. Viewing was a defining moment in my life.

Like 1984 and Fahrenheit 451, it is thought provoking and worth the read or, viewing. Freedom of thought, expression and observance of events from an alternative point of view from that which is generally accepted are healthy pursuits. In the end, the viewer/reader can draw their own conclusions and make their own decisions regarding any validity that may exist, which is also a worthy pursuit.

This movie is amazing, and a real eye-opener. We are so blind as to what is going on around us and we are so easily led to believe things that are mere fantasy. I recommend this movie if you're open-minded enough to dig beneath the layers of truth. Get it here. Zeitgeist: The Movie

the movie arrived decently quick and in great condition. only thing i questioned was if it was a copy......was very simplistic...not sure if this was just how the movie was made or what....would still recommend none the less.

This movie blew my mind. I knew 9/11 was false flag but had no evidence. Between Zeitgeist and 9/11 in Plane Sight there is no doubt. Zeitgeist also changed my views on religion and money. I studied stocks, real estate, banking, and currency and believed the system was fine until this. Now I have zero love of money. I use it only to get what I need and leave the lust for profit to the ignorant suits.

A fantastic film. It should be shown in High Schools all over the world. It is time to wake up and unite the world's people. It is over two hours long, but you won't realise it because it is so good. I have watched it many times now. There are two more films after this one - Zeitgeist: Addendum and Zeitgeist: Moving Forward. Please watch them!

Es gibt offensichtliche Fakten und es gibt Manipulationen.So isses.Wer woran glauben möchte darf sich gerne an seiner eigenen Gutmenschenmoral orientieren.Ich möchte ein klein wenig ausholen. ;-)Offensichtlich ist, war und wird es bleiben, dass die gefilmten oder fotografierten Terroranschläge des 11. Septembers 2001 nicht zu solchen Ergebnissen hätten führen können, wie sie dann stattgefunden haben.Die Gebäude des World Trade Centers wären NIEMALS ohne menschliche Manipulationen eingestürzt, so wie sie letztlich "eingestürzt" sind.Metallurgisch konnte der Stahl der Gebäude so nicht reagieren.Kalter Stahl kann nicht unter der Last seiner eigenen Masse zerschreddert werde, wie wir es bei den Zwillingstürmen gesehen haben.Die oberen Teile der Gebäude wären am Materialwiderstand der kalten unteren Konstruktion "gescheitert". D.h. hätten die "bombardierten Etagen" eine strukturelle Schwäche gezeigt und hätten unter der Last der darüber liegenden Stockwerke nachgegeben, dann wäre nach wenigen Stockwerken ein so fester Kern im Gebäude zu Wirkung gekommen, dass der jeweilige Block der oberen Stockwerke einfach seitlich an den Türmen herunter gestürzt wäre.Im Klartext: mindestens zwei Drittel der beiden Zwillingstürme würden immer noch stehen. Das Gebäude Nummer 7 wäre bei den kleinen Feuern und Fassadenbeschädigungen niemals zum Einsturz gekommen. Niemals, das sind Fakten.Doch was ist am 11. JA!!!Aber sie sehen sich doch auch täglich Nachrichten an, oder??? Glauben Sie mir, das ist viel Schlimmer. Sie Glauben den Manipulationen, den Halbwahrheiten und Unvollständigkeiten und Gutmenschenkommentaren im Medienaltar.Zeitgeist ist eine Produktion, die einen Fehler hat.Sie vermischt Fakten mit Unvollständigkeiten und moralischen Wertvorstellungen.Ist das Gefährlich? Ja.Aber nicht so gefährlich wie Artikel und Schlagzeilen der Bildzeitung.Schauen Sie sich den Film an und forschen Sie nach, was dort behauptet wird. Es ist eine faszinierende Inhaltsangabe um detaillierte Themen zu erforschen, von denen Sie bislang keine Ahnung und nur eine manipulierte Meinung hatten.Erweitern Sie ihren Horizont und hören Sie auf zu glauben...
A Must.
Historically, i have always been sceptical of most conspiracy theories. 'Man never went to the moon' comes to mind as one of the most convincing and yet, as such a big statement - ultimately hard to believe. Zeitgeist is well presented, albeit a rather amateur/low budget affair. The film begins (highly presumptiously) by contesting religion as a whole, linking astronomical events to the alleged 'fabricated' storytelling of jesus christ and the strange similarities with other 'mythologies' around the world at the time. This section of the film makes for interesting viewing, although fails to establish a solid evidence base for its argument. The latter part of the film concentrates on American history, the creation of a private central banking institute and the perceived influence key players had on wars within the last 100 years. Intelligently, Zeitgeist does not patronise the viewer by suggesting 'we are right, listen to us'. Instead the film intends to provoke thought and it that sense, it succeeds tremendously.
Very Sobering..A must watch!!
A must watch!! Some may call this a cult movement which is complete rubbish it's just information and information that really helps to 'wake' you up. This is not a conspiracy theory dvd put together by a bunch of wacked out, high hippies, these people are intelligent, level headed beings who just want to help make you more aware of the Truths and Lies in this 'Plastic Society' we 'live' in today. A very important DVD.

Der Film will zeigen, wie schon durch die ganze Geschichte der Menschheit hindurch die Mehrzahl der Menschen durch Mythen beherrscht wurde. Er geht zu Beginn davon aus, dass alle bisherigen und jetzigen Religionen Verehrungen der Himmelskörper sind und gewesen sind, besonders der Sonne. Auch Jesus Christus ist danach die Verkörperung des Sonnengottes. Indem diese realen Erkenntnisse des Kosmos geheimnisvoll und symbolisch gemacht wurden, dienten sie der gesellschaftlichen Kontrolle durch eine Oberschicht. Durch immer neue Techniken der Täuschung wurde und wird die Menschheit von wenigen beherrscht. Heute insbesondere durch das Geldwesen. Diejenigen, die es zustande gebracht haben, das Geld, das die Menschheit benutzt, privat zu machen und aus dem Nichts zu erstellen, dann aber den Staaten und den Einzelnen gegen Zins zu verleihen, bringen sie alle Werte nach und nach an sich. Um sich zu bereichern, zetteln sie durch Täuschungen Kriege an, weil dann die Staaten noch mehr gezwungen sind, Geld gegen Zins zu leihen und weil dann Werte vernichtet werden, die wieder geschaffen werden müssen, wobei die Staaten und die große Masse der Menschen wieder Geld leihen müssen. So ist auch zu erklären, wie es zu 9/11 kam. Ein schon mehrfach erprobter Trick, die Völker in Kriege zu stürzen. Gezeigt wird, wie das in der Vergangenheit gemacht wurde, z.B. am Fall Pearl Harbour. Ein Film, der für den erleuchtend ist, der dieser Beweisführung folgen kann und will und erschütternd und nicht annehmbar für den, der das nicht für zutreffend hält oder nicht erträgt, es für zutreffend zu halten. Auf jeden Fall genial gemacht. Sehenswert.Zeitgeist: Der Film
Do You Believe?
This documentary is most thought provoking. Some of the views expressed may be a bit whacky and it poses many questions unanswered but, and this is a big but, nobody has stood up and refuted their arguments. It is a 'must see' and may change your outlook on life; or not; as the case may be!It amused and intrigued me and you won't see stuff like this broadcast on the BBC that's for sure.

Sie Glauben den Manipulationen, den Halbwahrheiten und Unvollständigkeiten und Gutmenschenkommentaren im Medienaltar.Zeitgeist ist eine Produktion, die einen Fehler hat.Sie vermischt Fakten mit Unvollständigkeiten und moralischen Wertvorstellungen.Ist das Gefährlich? Ja.Aber nicht so gefährlich wie Artikel und Schlagzeilen der Bildzeitung.Schauen Sie sich den Film an und forschen Sie nach, was dort behauptet wird. Es ist eine faszinierende Inhaltsangabe um detaillierte Themen zu erforschen, von denen Sie bislang keine Ahnung und nur eine manipulierte Meinung hatten.Erweitern Sie ihren Horizont und hören Sie auf zu glauben...
A Must.
Historically, i have always been sceptical of most conspiracy theories. 'Man never went to the moon' comes to mind as one of the most convincing and yet, as such a big statement - ultimately hard to believe. Zeitgeist is well presented, albeit a rather amateur/low budget affair. The film begins (highly presumptiously) by contesting religion as a whole, linking astronomical events to the alleged 'fabricated' storytelling of jesus christ and the strange similarities with other 'mythologies' around the world at the time. This section of the film makes for interesting viewing, although fails to establish a solid evidence base for its argument. The latter part of the film concentrates on American history, the creation of a private central banking institute and the perceived influence key players had on wars within the last 100 years. Intelligently, Zeitgeist does not patronise the viewer by suggesting 'we are right, listen to us'. Instead the film intends to provoke thought and it that sense, it succeeds tremendously.
Very Sobering..A must watch!!
A must watch!! Some may call this a cult movement which is complete rubbish it's just information and information that really helps to 'wake' you up. This is not a conspiracy theory dvd put together by a bunch of wacked out, high hippies, these people are intelligent, level headed beings who just want to help make you more aware of the Truths and Lies in this 'Plastic Society' we 'live' in today. A very important DVD.
Informativ, beeindruckend, genial
Der Film will zeigen, wie schon durch die ganze Geschichte der Menschheit hindurch die Mehrzahl der Menschen durch Mythen beherrscht wurde. Er geht zu Beginn davon aus, dass alle bisherigen und jetzigen Religionen Verehrungen der Himmelskörper sind und gewesen sind, besonders der Sonne. Auch Jesus Christus ist danach die Verkörperung des Sonnengottes. Indem diese realen Erkenntnisse des Kosmos geheimnisvoll und symbolisch gemacht wurden, dienten sie der gesellschaftlichen Kontrolle durch eine Oberschicht. Durch immer neue Techniken der Täuschung wurde und wird die Menschheit von wenigen beherrscht. Heute insbesondere durch das Geldwesen. Diejenigen, die es zustande gebracht haben, das Geld, das die Menschheit benutzt, privat zu machen und aus dem Nichts zu erstellen, dann aber den Staaten und den Einzelnen gegen Zins zu verleihen, bringen sie alle Werte nach und nach an sich. Um sich zu bereichern, zetteln sie durch Täuschungen Kriege an, weil dann die Staaten noch mehr gezwungen sind, Geld gegen Zins zu leihen und weil dann Werte vernichtet werden, die wieder geschaffen werden müssen, wobei die Staaten und die große Masse der Menschen wieder Geld leihen müssen. So ist auch zu erklären, wie es zu 9/11 kam. Ein schon mehrfach erprobter Trick, die Völker in Kriege zu stürzen. Gezeigt wird, wie das in der Vergangenheit gemacht wurde, z.B. am Fall Pearl Harbour. Ein Film, der für den erleuchtend ist, der dieser Beweisführung folgen kann und will und erschütternd und nicht annehmbar für den, der das nicht für zutreffend hält oder nicht erträgt, es für zutreffend zu halten. Auf jeden Fall genial gemacht. Sehenswert.Zeitgeist: Der Film

This documentary is most thought provoking. Some of the views expressed may be a bit whacky and it poses many questions unanswered but, and this is a big but, nobody has stood up and refuted their arguments. It is a 'must see' and may change your outlook on life; or not; as the case may be!It amused and intrigued me and you won't see stuff like this broadcast on the BBC that's for sure.
