For reference I am a serious exotic pet-keeper, and this is the absolute best enclosure I have come across. I am planning on investing in other sizes for my other pets when I can afford them.- The residents of this Nano are C. morosus walking sticks (stick bugs). They were loaded in en masse as nymphs and are now subadults, but quite large. It's hard to count them all amidst the foliage, but something like ten sticks are living in here comfortably.- The front access, top access, and mesh are invaluable. I had no idea that my sticks would spend 80% of their time on the roof, so I shudder to think how I would have used a traditional top-opening enclosure without losing sticks every time I opened it.- The doors are very secure but easy to open.- To my knowledge, no nymphs (c. 1.5") were able to get behind the backdrop, though I can see how one might be concerned; I filled the substrates a bit higher to ensure nobody could get down and behind, but mine was very well-fitted and high quality.- The size is honestly a fair bit larger than I expected it to be (I was envisioning it -- incorrectly -- as going to be about the size of a small "betta bowl" but square, and this is fantastically larger, not so "nano" at all.- This is an excellent choice, because of the verticality, for arboreal creatures. I would recommend a different size/shape for any terrestrial pets.P.S. For anyone else looking for stick maintenance, look up the Snake Discovery video on stick care. I followed her instructions fairly exactly and have a lot of very happy sticks.

My juvenile crestie loves it.Perfect little grow out enclosure. Looks sleek, and is pretty secure.For the money, this tank is a steal.I look forward to adding more Exoterra enclosures as he grows and will probably be upgrading my other crestie to one of these as well.I like the mesh top, hidden latch system for the door, and it just looks so cool with a few small plants and faux orchid. Very impressed for my first front open enclosure.

Sturdy and great quality enclosure. Setup was very easy; it was already assembled.Although; I think packaging could have been better. The Bolo delivery man threw my package into my porch, luckily nothing broke. I wondered why there wasn’t “FRAGILE” stamped on the box. Until I opened the box and found another box inside that said “FRAGILE” which defeats the purpose

I really like the front opening door on this enclosure. It’s a great size for small frogs.

It looks great, good quality material. Unfortunately I'm going to have to make some diy adjustments in order for it to work for me. I plan to use this for a mantis and the metal mesh on the top is too harsh for mantis feet so I'll be removing it and using tulle instead. I wouldn't recommend using this as a paldarium because there is a space on both sides of the door where water could easily splash out and small bugs could crawl out. I'll have to do another diy rock or something to cover the holes. I also don't like how easily the slide in the back moves, I feel like it could easily let out pets accidentally. The size is perfect for insect pets. I would not recommend putting any reptile or amphibians in here if you want to keep your pet ethically. Although I'm not thrilled with the metal mesh I'm happy with the purchase. If the seller sees this I hope they take more pictures of their product because this easily could have been 5 stars if I had just known ahead of time about the metal mesh.

I love exo terra products and this one is no exception. Cheapest cost high quality terrarium on the market for this size. Everything about the build quality is great. It’s the perfect starter terrarium for most small geckos and other critters. I really like the integrated lid latching system. Overall, it looks great and is of high quality. I use this for up to 15gram crested geckos.

Nice sturdy cage with two openings. I bought this for my tree frog and it’s the perfect size. I love that you can open the front or top of the cage.

Gut verarbeitetes Terrarium, sehr zu empfehlen
Nicht mein erstes Exo-Terra Terrarium und die Qualität ist bisher immer gleichbleibend gut.Ich habe aktuell ein 20x20x30 (nano tall) sowie ein 20x20x20 (nano) für jeweils eine Phidippus Regius in Betrieb, das nano wird nun zeitnah gegen ein zweites nano tall getauscht.Beide Terrarien überwache ich mit einem digitalen Thermo-/Hygrometer welches durch die vorhandenen Kabelführungen im Deckel und in der Rückwand laufen. Da muss man also nichts bohren oder modifizieren.Hier könnte man theoretisch auch ein Sprühsystem einführen oder andere Kabel entlanglaufen lassen.Beleuchtet wird bei mir von außen mit einem Lampenhalter vom gleichen Hersteller der an der Rückseite angeklebt ist.Die Glaskanten sind sauber ausgeführt und angeschliffen, es besteht hier also keine Verletzungsgefahr. Habe da schon ganz andere Terrarien im Handel gesehen an denen man sich schnell verletzen oder einen Glassplitter einfangen könnte.Frühere Exo-Terra Terrarien hatten Klippverschlüsse im Deckel, diese wurden mittlerweile durch einen drehbaren Verschluss ersetzt, vermutlich weil die Clips immer mal gebrochen sind.Für kleine Insekten oder als Aufzuchtbecken kann ich die nano Terrarien sehr empfehlen.Andere Größen sind in der Regel mit den gleichen Features ausgestattet.Besonders positiv fallen mir auf:- keine dicken Silikonwülste- leichtgängig Fronttür- gute Lüftung vorn und oben für einen Kamineffekt- genug Platz für Substrat (ca. 4-5cm) um ein bioaktives Terrarium einzurichten- ansprechende Styroporrückwand mit Kabelführungen an der Rückseite um ein z.B. Thermostat im Terrarium zu platzieren- leicht zu öffnender und verriegelbarer Deckel mit Droso-sicherem Gewebe- verschließbare Kabeleinführung im Deckel- Stellfüsse die Platz für z.B. eine Heizmatte unter dem Terrarium bietenDie wenigen Mankos die ich finden kann:- bei dem 20x20x30er Terrarium (nano tall) kann man die Rückwand zwar im Terrarium bewegen, aber da sie recht dick ist bekommt man sie nicht gedreht um sie komplett und beschädigungsfrei rauszunehmen- der Rahmen um den Deckel hat eine umlaufende Nut in der sich kleine Futtertiere verstecken könnten (für meine Springspinnen allerdings nicht dramatisch)
