What an innovative product. I do a lot of baking and a huge portion of it is sourdough. I wanted to get away from the alcohol in the vanilla extract liquid. I feel like the sourdough performs better when alcohol isn’t introduced. I have replaced the liquid extract with this powder in 100% of everything I make. It is a beautiful flavor and very high quality.

Integrates well into recipes, but it definitely could use more vanilla flavor. It is about half of the regular vanilla extract. Probably have to use twice as much for it to come through.

I find that the powder has enough flavor that you don't have to over do it with the liquid vanilla extract -- and considering the price of vanilla extract these days, when baking you can go through quite a bit!I like this for glazes, sprinkling into hot cocoa and as a topping for chocolate cupcakes, brownies... I thought the price was great too considering how large the jar and of course it's by Cooks. I make my own vanilla extract and I feel it's still a bit week. Adding the powder gives it the flavor I need :)

I bought this to enhance the flavor of my cookies, and was surprised when I tasted it. The vanilla taste is prominent, along with a subtle sweetness. It arrived well sealed and the bottle was bigger than I expected, though true to the listing - a good value for the cost. I was surprised that the smell was pleasant but not as strong as liquid pure vanilla. The cookies are good, and it performed as stated when substituted one-to-one for liquid vanilla extract. Five stars!
