A premium noodle at a premium price, but I am hooked on this brand of fettuccine. I’ve tried many high end pastas in recent years and De Cecco is my favorite. Their fettuccine beats out the pappardelle due to the slightly shorter cooking time and more consistent result. Be sure to skim some of the foam from the pot and mix with the cooked pasta for a more unctuous meal. Note: I am not a paid shill for the company, I’m a pasta lover.

This is the best Itallian pasta I have ever had. I love all De Cecco pasta. It is closest to the homemade pasta my Sicilian mother made. Homemade pasta is time consuming but with this pasta my family feels we are having homemade by just boiling water. Each bundle is 250 calories and is a perfect serving size. The bundles are so easy to remember. Do not overcook it and do not rinse after boiling. Also, do not drain it for more than a couple seconds and it will be perfect. If needed, you can save a little of the pasta water to add to your favorite recipe. Their pepperadelle is delicious too.

This pasta is delicious. The white dappling is normal for artesian pasta. It is just a bit of flour.My only negative is that, despite the bubble wrap, the pasta rattled around in its box during shipping and there were a lot of broken pieces. The pasta is great, but it just might not be amenable to shipping.
