A little of this goes a long way. I use 1 teaspoon when making the ice cream, basically 2 cups of heavy cream, 1 and 1/2 cups of milk or half and half, puréed mango, confectioners sugar, and a few other ingredients. Fresh mangoes can vary in their intensity of sweetness and flavor, but with a teaspoon of this extract, so far the ice cream has turned out great each time. For the cake, I use 2 cups of heavy whipping cream and add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of extract along with the confectioners sugar, and then after the whipped cream is ready, fold in 1/2 to 1 cup of puréed mango, and I use this to cover a vanilla chiffon cake. There are many recipes for mango ice cream and mango cake on the Internet. Some call for mango extract and others do not, but a small amount of this extract can be used to enhance any of the recipes. The bottle is 4 fluid ounces, I will buy again when I need more.

**Please note that this review is specifically for sparkling water flavor alternatives.I have a sparkling water machine in my home and wanted to try some alternative flavorings instead of the brand name options. Usually the flavorings either come in a syrup or diluted syrups that are much more liquid. The flavor is great but choices are limited compared to sparkling water flavors you can get at the grocery store. I googled alternative flavoring items, and saw that you can try using extracts.This OliveNation Pure Mango Extract does NOT taste good as a flavoring agent in WATER. This is an extract and is intended to flavor food items. It has a bit of alcohol in it and you can taste it in the water. The smell (once diluted in water) is off putting. Also, once added to the water, then adding the C02, it bubbles quite a lot and is harder to carbonate. I am guessing since the extract contains alcohol. I DO NOT recommend this for flavoring water.With that being said, I am looking forward to using this item for flavoring food items. I really love that this is an all natural product (naturally colored with plant based ingredients). I wanted something as natural as possible while flavoring my water. I will keep this product to experiment flavoring cakes/frostings, icecream, and possibly mango bread (experimental, but sounds pleasant). I am looking forward to trying this product out for its intended use.

First of all, do not use extracts for baking. You must use an emulsified flavoring. In other words, oil-based. Extracts are mostly alcohol-based and are not stable when heated. Extracts can also affect cold items like ice cream. They are mostly used in drinks and cool items. Do not bake with them. Do not pay attention to any of the reviews where someone was baking with the extract. It is good for things like sorbet, frostings, pudding that is not heated, flavoring cream cheese or other room temperature or cool items. It will taste good in ice cream but the alcohol content may affect the freezing point.

I love this stuff. A couple drops in my tea is yummy. Ive bought it 5 different times. And not just one bottle. I bought 5 three packs. But when I bought them they were less than $17 for three bottles. Its not remotely worth $13 for one or almost $40 for three. They are not being realistic. Look and buy elsewhere until the price goes back down. Would not buy for this price and would rather go without. Not a chance.

Not worth the $$..you cannot taste the Mango flavor once product is cooked. Somewhere in the cooking process it looses its flavor. Made 2 cakes the first one used 4 teaspoons to the batter the second cake used 6 teaspoons. I added it to the frosting on the second cake and still under performed. Would return if I hadn’t used so much of the product.

This was GREAT!!I actually got the "PURE" version of this Brand this time and not one with the wrong label & vanilla added to it......of the 5 other flavors I ordered!!this was the only one that arrived as pictured & described accurately.

I used the OliveNation Mango Extract to flavor the topping of some conchas, and it worked perfectly and they were delicious and fruity! I also used their Blueberry extract and it was also quite effective and delicious. I can definitely recommend this to other bakers looking for a good mango flavor!
