Cookies are very fresh. The filling has a nice zesty lemon flavor. They are a little expensive, but they are totally worth the money. I had a hard time finding them because the store in the mall that sold them closedown along time ago. The wafers are crisp. We have tried many others on the market from other vendors. Nothing compares to the flavor that the Manner wafers possess. Yummy!!

They taste pretty stale. The best by date says 1/1/18 but it looks like it was slapped on there before shipping out rather than being part of the commercial packaging. The box they came in looks a little too old and worn to match that best by date.

The wafers are delicious, but the packaging contained a clear oil coating on the outside of each individual pocket pack!!! The oil leaked through the box containing the packs. It was odorless and colorless. The wafers were fine, dry and crispy. The oily substance is a mystery!

Stale upon arrival. I love the brand and the flavor but these were old and the texture was like cardboard.

As someone who has more or less lost their entire sense of smell and taste over the past few years, I have to say that the lemon flavour in these wafers must be strong - because even I can taste the lemoniness. (Not sure if that's a real word, but it is now.)The only reason I'm deducting one star is because I'm pretty sure they give me a mild attack of wind (that's gas to you Americans) - but not so bad that it's going to stop me eating more of them!

I had these when I was in Vienna, Austria at the Manner shop. They are so good. Of course, we can't bring a lot of everything we like on our travels back with us so I was very pleased to find them on Bolo. They are more expensive than in the store in Austria but, the fact I could get them in the U.S. makes up for that. I will continue to order them. Sometimes when something says it is lemon you can barely detect the flavor of the lemon. These are very good and have a nice lemon taste.
