Perfect for quick fixes around the house. This hand mender was suppose to be for small simple projects, but was ridiculously difficult to use. Other reviews said the battery cover didn’t hold the batteries in, but mine worked fine. The pressure foot is very strong, but not in a good way; it’s very difficult to lift without pushing the needle down manually - sometimes pinching fingers. The throat plate was broken or something because the thread got cut by the needle or the throat plate every stitch. It wouldn’t sew even an inch without cutting the thread. Ended up missing the return date so I kept the needle, threw out the machine, and invested in a standard sewing machine.

La máquina funciona bien para tareas muy sencillas y telas delgadas, es difícil de usar, ya que mientras coses debes sostenerla con una mano y la tela con otra, no me parece muy práctica y además duro muy poco, fácilmente se desarma o se descompone, pero si solo harás tareas muy muy sencillas es recomendable

Oh, I got this because it was small and I can just whip this out for quick stiches and throw in a drawer. So check. HOWEVER, you'll need the dexterity of a neuro surgeon to get your clothing in the jaw and to guide the cloth when it starts. The needle doesn't go high enough to get a good clearance so thinner cloth gets caught as the dial spins on tension (it doesn't hold well in the up position). Oh, as you're messing with that, the power switch can easily be switched on...so if you happen to be near the arm or needle, yikes. Ok...I can live with all of that and for a quick fix on an old pair of shorts, who cares so long as it is fixed, right? Well, here comes the pain, because of the "single bobbin" type of stitch you gotta tie off the thread or it will instantly unravel with a pull. It looks so easy on the video, but oh no. I had my technician magnifying goggles w/ light to even see the stitch as it was black shorts with black thread. Good luck getting to the stitch without an electron microscope and robotic arms to tie it off! Spend the money for the dual bobbin version that doesn't require this painful step. If you don't have perfect vision, the steady hands and tools of a electronic board repair person, and a third arm with very dexterous fingers this just isn't for you! I'm keeping it because I got it to work and it was cheap (and too lazy to return). Two stars because my shorts doesn't have a hole anymore and it is cheap.

Zero stars would be more appropriate. This is, without a doubt, the worst performing and most frustrating item I've ever purchased from Bolo. It would not sew more than an inch without the thread bunching up on the bottom and then the thread would break under stress. I watched YouTube videos on how to best use this product. The procedure isn't complicated...it just wouldn't sew properly. This is another example of "You get what you pay for". $20 for a sew machine says it all.

Wer Fremdsprachen affin ist kann sich das "Helferlein" gern kaufen.Wer allerdings die Anleitung auf deutsch benötigt bzw. gar erwartet sollte die Finger weg lassen. Diese gibt es nämlich nicht.
