Such a great alternative to the warm wet towel on eye compress. This thing stays warm for a good amount of time. Only bad thing is you must use caution when warming up as the little balls inside them can explode and it loses its function. Have bought 2, both helped me through styes. You get up, wash your eyes out with baby shampoo, then apply this compress for like 30min to 1hr a day. Stye will be gone within a week of caught early enough.

Instructions clearly say to microwave for 10 seconds, which I initially did. It it was lukewarm, so I added additional 5-10 seconds checking constantly. It was heated and warm to the touch and eye, but cooled off very quickly.Second time I heated it, I heated for 15 seconds. Still just lukewarm. Put it in for another 15 secund, and it exploded at 5 seconds in 🤪.Don't be me! Stop at 15 seconds, max!However, I will not buy again because it doesn't heat enough and cools of quickly.

This is great for helping to lubricate your eye, to avoid the feeling of something scraping on your eye, such as a stye. While this is really more of a lubricant as it does not contain any medication, it serves its main purpose. To help your lid slide easily up and down. I actually had used this before, when one of my contacts scratched my cornea.

For the price I have paid, it wasn't useful at all. broke in less then 2 weeks, bursted in my microwave.is for one eye only, which doesn't provide relief for both sides.
