5.0 out of 5 stars Wow! The best!
My wife and I are both in our '60s and have dealt with hearing loss... in my case, my mother and siblings have nearly all dealt with hearing loss and excessive wax build-up in our ears. I've used a variety of ear-cleaning liquids and devices, but the very first time using this Otex solution I knew it was different – you can really feel it absorbing, and can even feel it a bit in your nasal cavity. Most importantly, my wife and I instantly felt/heard an increased clarity in our hearing that lasted (I think any wet solution can have a temporary effect due to wetting the eardrum). We have both struggled to hear dialogue in some movies we watch (usually when there's a strong background noise in the movie, like crowds talking or other noise). We could definitely sense a difference after using these drops only a couple of times.I only wish they sold it in larger bottles since we're both using it, but I guess we'll have to get a bottle for each of us – I will hide mine because she will definitely use it when hers runs out :). It's a bit pricey, but worth it for the noticeable effect it has – definitely superior to all the other highly-rated ear drops, and I think we've tried them all by now. I read a review of ear drops and this product received top ratings by hearing specialists... now I know why

Worked okay but it says use twice a day for a max of 5 days and discard after 4 weeks of opening so unless you have a lot of people using it I feel like most just gets wasted.
5.0 out of 5 stars They work
They work very well in getting rid of wax in your ears.
3.0 out of 5 stars Might work. Might not.
Didn't do anything to my earwax but perhaps noting could. Hydrogen peroxide and warm water didn't do it. I read various things that said this would work differently. Followed the instructions faithfully, using a timer. No effect.
5.0 out of 5 stars Really Works
I have had problems with wax buildup for almost all of my life. I did not realize how bad the problem was until I started experiencing dizziness from clogged ears. I tried: diluted hydrogen peroxide, mineral oil, gentle ear irrigation with slightly warm water, homeopathic ear drops, and liquid colace extracted from gel caps to help get rid of the wax. All of these treatments worked slightly, but when I started using sodium bicarb ear drops, the wax finally came out.I leave the drops in for a whole hour with my ear facing upwards. I pull back gently on the top of my ear to help straighten out my ear canal. Then I repeat this every day for a total of four days. After four days I gently irrigate my ear with slightly warm water (if the water is too hot or cold it can cause really bad dizziness). I am not sure why these drops are only sold in Europe; probably for the same reason that we don't have ear cleaning clinics in the US-or at least where I live. They absolutely work!
5.0 out of 5 stars Thank you for making this

Sodium Bicarbonate Drops
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } I've recently tried the Sodium Bicarbonate Drops for ear wax removal, and I'm quite impressed with its performance. As someone who occasionally struggles with hardened ear wax build-up, I found these drops to be both effective and gentle.**Ease of Use:**The 10ml bottle comes with a convenient dropper that makes application straightforward. The instructions are clear: simply tilt your head, apply a few drops into the affected ear, and allow the solution to work its magic. I appreciated how easy it was to incorporate into my routine without any fuss.**Effectiveness:**Within a few days of consistent use, I noticed a significant improvement. The drops effectively softened the hardened wax, making it easier to remove without any discomfort. Unlike some other ear wax removal products I've tried, these drops didn't cause any irritation or itching.**Gentleness:**One of the standout features of these drops is their gentle formula. Sodium bicarbonate is known for its mild properties, and it didn't disappoint. The drops provided a soothing sensation and didn't cause any adverse reactions, which is a huge plus for those with sensitive ears.**Packaging:**The 10ml size is perfect for travel and home use. The bottle is compact and seals well, ensuring the drops stay fresh and effective. Additionally, the dropper allows for precise application, minimizing any wastage.**Value for Money:**Given its effectiveness and gentle nature, I find the Sodium Bicarbonate Drops to be a good value for money. A little goes a long way, and the 10ml bottle lasts through several applications.**Overall Experience:**I highly recommend the Sodium Bicarbonate Drops for anyone dealing with excessive, hardened ear wax. Its gentle yet effective formula ensures a comfortable experience, and the ease of use makes it a hassle-free solution. Whether you're looking for a regular ear care routine or an occasional treatment, these drops are a reliable choice. In conclusion, the Sodium Bicarbonate Drops have exceeded my expectations, providing a simple, effective, and gentle solution for ear wax removal. I will definitely continue to use this product and recommend it to others.
Does what it says
Great. They actually remove earwax
Easy to use and effective.
These are more effective than olive oil drops but they are more drying. I was expecting it to fizz up when applied but this didn't happen. Easy to use and the included instructions are clear and informative.
Just works
Excellent for those waxy ears like mine, does the job
Earol works as well and is easier to use
I usually use Earol Olive Oil spray for the softening and naturally removing of ear wax, but these Otex drops were recommended by the Audiologist as an alternative.Inside the box was an instruction leaflet, an amber bottle containing the ear drops and a dropper, which after initial use acts as a replacement screw cap.I had to tilt my head and using the dropper to release 3 or 4 drops into my ear, ensuring the dropper didn’t touch my ear. After several ‘near misses’ I managed to do this, I had to stay with my head tilted for several minutes so that the drops stayed in my ear. This palaver I had to do twice a day until the wax cleared or for a maximum of 5 days.I appreciate that Otex is a gentle and effective way to soften and clear ear wax, BUT I found Earol was way easier to use and just as effective.Firstly Earol has a spray that delivers a measured dose of oil into the ear, I don’t know if it is just me but I found it difficult to drop the Otex drops into my ear, especially without touching the ear with the dropper.Secondly with Earol your head is kept upright, but with Otex you have to find the right angle of tilt for the liquid to drain into the ear and then you have to stay in that position for minutes!Overall I think Earol is the clear winner.
