All of these gooey brake pad products work when applied correctly but brake pads contact the caliper in more places than the pistons on the back. So that means that in order to be 100 percent effective you have to get some of this stuff on every little tab and possible rubbing point, yet not get any on anything that might contact the braking surfaces like rotors and pad faces. Sometimes that's not easy. So here's a trick that I learned from an old guy who used to own a brake shop: While you've got your pads off, use a file or a small sanding disc to lightly chamfer the complete outside edges of your brake pads. Shoot for approximately 45 degrees and you don't need to take off much, just a small chamfer. I have used this trick for years and found it to be totally effective in stopping brake squeal. But since it's a hassle to remove your brake pads, (and nobody wants to do it twice) I always hedge my bets by both, chamfering my pads and using a brake quiet product like this Loctite. That way it's one and done.

Used to quiet the brakes on my 2012 f150 and it absolutely works, the amount is kinda small for the price but the ease of application makes it worth it. Will buy again

Worked well to reduce squeal. Stick type applicator was easy to apply on flat surfaces like back of brake pad, but more difficult to apply on smaller brake hardware. (Used small screwdriver to apply it there). Will see how long it lasts. Enough for many brake jobs.

Had squeaks on the front brakes of a 2015 Toyota Sienna. A simple application following the instructions totally stopped the squeaks! I highly recommend this on any squeaking brakes.

It seems to make my 2024 Lexus NX350h front brakes that were squealing upon reverse seems to be more quieter now after application of this Loctite product. Plus it is glue stick applied and it is clear.

It's convenient to store and use.I tried it out while changing the brakes on my car. So far so good! I'm not sure what the shelf life of this product is, but I think I should be using this for years to come

Worked perfectly on the rear brake pads on my Yamaha fz6. They squeaked so loudly that people got scared. I could hear it from inside my helmet with ear plugs on. It made me avoid the rear brakes as much as possible. Not safe.A simple application solved the problem.This is not a paid review but a honest one, go for this product.
