As to the thickness, most lounge chair covers are about the same thickness. This one has plenty of length. The reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is the pocket is too far to reach when a person is reclined on the cover. I'd move the pocket a good 12" closer to the end with the pocket.

Our lounge cushion is fine except a little soiled by time and weather. This terrycloth lounge cover, then, is just the thing for my purposes. Fits over the back of the lounge so as to remain in place once someone sits/stretches out; pockets on the side can be used for storage. The nice thing is that it's so amply made (length and width) so as to provide both a good clean look for the lounge but an even more comfortable area on which to relax. And, when soiled, it just goes in the wash, same as any other terrycloth product. This was well worth the purchase.

After using them for a few weeks, they quickly yellowed. I have tried bleaching them but it does not take the yellow out.

Not the best quality but adequate. A little thin (not plush) but are a generous size. I bought a different brand as well and they are much better quality but were a little more expensive so there is a trade off.

I ordered two towels with side pockets and only one came with the side pockets...in the process of getting that taken care of. I think the terry cloth seems a bit thin to me but they do fit fineand they are long enough to tuck in at the end of the cushion so as not to wave in the wind. Great idea but haven't owned them long enough to see how they do after multiple washes.

I like using this at the pool at the campground but it is toooo long. It is wide enough to fit across the chair but I have to clip it up so it doesn't drag on the ground. It is also a very thick towel which can be a good thing but in my case it takes soooo long to dry when you are camping (without a dryer). Hanging it to dry outside takes forever.

I was concerned they might be a little small when in fact they are plenty big with extra to tuck into the bottom. Well made although they do shed a lot as previous reviewers have mentioned.
