Amazing! I bought to add to Asian recipes. You can use this to improve soups, sauces. Take one cube 12oz boiling water. Mix in cube. Absolutely delicious!!

I've been having ongoing problems with Maggi cubes in general, where they arrive (or available in stores) as soft and flavorless. Usually about 6 or 7 months after the manufacture date on the bag. I wouldn't normally complain but these things cost $11-$13 per bag. And this particular batch had the same problem.The reason I know this is an issue is that its been happening since about the end of 2016. I used to buy these from the local african store with no problems whatsoever, then one day I bought a bag, and used them in cooking, and realized as I was tasting the food that something was very very wrong with the maggi cubes. The taste was off by a lot! I tasted the maggi cubes themselves and they didn't have their typical strong seasoned taste, the cubes were soft and almost tasteless.At first I thought it was just a glitch, so I went back to the store and bought another bag, same problem. Drove down about 3 miles to a Mexican store and bought a bag there, same issue ... so on a whim, I started to look at the manufacture dates, When I found a pack with a date closer to the current time, they were usually not soft and they had full flavor. So I would use that simple test to figure out which ones to buy in the store.Well now I've moved, and the problem reared its head again, I bought these cubes at this store, and they were tasteless and soft like before, I tried another store, and finally drove 15 miles to the local african store to see if I could get some better ones in person. No luck.Incredibly disappointing, and I can't get a refund from Bolo.Nestle needs to do something about this.
