This is a high quality product with pieces of real vanilla. You can taste the difference. My wife uses it constantly for all of her baking as well as her homemade granola, which are all delicious. The price is reasonable making it the perfect choice. No need to look elsewhere.

I’ve gotten vanilla from off US shores before because it was supposed to be “authentic” vanilla, curated by sources reputed to be the best vanilla EV-ER, and I’ve found all of them to be really icky. Not this! This is the best vanilla I’ve had by far! As for the size, that too made me gun -shy about buying it because I thought, “what if this turns out to be icky like those other not-store-brand vanillas I’ve had, and if I don’t like it I’ll have a ton of it just taking up space in my pantry?” My friends, fear not. I’ll use every drop of this. It adds this wonderful, subtle something to my baked dishes that exceeds the actual taste of the vanilla. I highly recommend it! You will thank me later.

Love Totonac’s for years. Been traveling to Mexico to buy and never had a problem. However, now that I want able to go I thought I’d try this. Well, it’s listed as real vanilla bean inside bottle. There is no vanilla bean inside bottle. (But I’m sure they mean they use real vanilla beans.) Next, I’ve always had it as extract and this notes as “flavoring”. There is a HUGE DIFFERENCE between extract and flavoring. While this does tend to lend itself more towards flavoring, since it is pure Mexican Vanilla, it is stronger than a regular everyday vanilla flavoring that you would buy in a store. Overall nice product… pricey but ok… I did return another bottle that was completely unacceptable so be cautious.
