These door latch strike plates are constructed of stamped steel and come in a classic bronze finish. They feature an adjustable tab to allow for best engagement of the door latches, and they are used to replace most interior and exterior residential latch strikes. This item includes the fasteners and 2 strike plates per package. These plates measure 1-7/16 inch wide x 2-1/4 inch tall and have a 1-5/8 inch hole center spacing.

Fit the old door cut out perfectly. Screws were a bit longer than the old ones, which worked out perfectly because the old screw holes were stripped out. Nice you get a set of 2

These are good quality latch strikes, pretty thick and well made and heavy. Definitely not cheaply made.The color is very close to black. I expected a little more "bronzyness" from the finish but it looks more like a paint job over an stainless steel than an actual bronze finish. Even if it's actually a bronze finish, it certainly isn't a brushed or oil brushed bronze. Just a super dark matte bronze very close to black.The corners are rounded as advertised and like to photos showed in the listing. If you are installing these on new doors, no need to worry, but if you are installing on existing doors replacing older latch strikes, it would be a good idea to check the round corners to make sure these new ones will fit properly.The come in 2s wrapped in cheap plastic, one concern is they might scratch each other during shipping, I ordered several pairs however and they all came clean though.The installation is pretty easy, with the two screws that come in the package you just remove the old ones and replace them with these. If you're are installing these on a new door, you have to make some accurate measurements to make sure the "hole" ends up in the right place.Overall, I do recommend this if like myself you have purchased door handles or knobs in bronze or oil brushed bronze and are looking for replacing the latch strikes too. Price is decent, quality is pretty good and installation is super easy.

fit standard sized door frame openings. It does seem a tad bigger than a standard plate with rounded corners so i had to chisel out a bigger opening - no big deal. looks great!

So there is 2 in a package for these... I bought 2 thinking it was one each but there is 2 in one! If you're looking for a strike plate for your door to stay closed.. this is it lol. My landlord decided ' lets put doors on with no strike plates.' So... they are great, and did the job.
