This led to the worst diaper rash ever. We're talking bloody blisters. We tried everything: prescription stereoid creams, antibiotic ointments, literally every diaper rash cream we could get our hands on or get samples of from our pediatrician, lanolin, vaseline, you name it. Nothing was working and things were just getting worse. We did it the "right way" - lots of naked butt time, try something for a few days to give it a chance to kick in, then move on. Just when I couldn't find another brand to try, I found this online. In 2 days the rash wasn't getting worse anymore. In a week, you couldn't even tell he ever had any. In three weeks, we stopped using this until he started sleeping for longer stretches. Now we put a little on at bedtime to protect his skin. He's never had as much as a red spot since. I gave one tube to a friend who's son was having some redness around his little snip snip and in 3 days he was all better. She's been using another brand religiously since he was born and now she's a convert. Best thing? It doesn't make your hands stink and repel water like most other brands. It gets all absorbed into the skin and almost looks like there was no diaper cream to begin with. Wish there were more stars to give!
5.0 out of 5 stars Helped clear a recurrent rash
We've struggled with a recurrent, very bad diaper rash for the last few months. I'd get it cleared up, the baby would have a couple weeks of clear skin, then she would break out and get raw again. I tried several other brands of diaper cream and finally ordered this as a last-ditch option. I'm happy to say it seems to have helped. When I got this cream, I started letting her run around diaperless for about 15 minutes, then slathered on a thick layer of the cream before rediapering. After the first 24 hours using this cream there was a noticeable improvement. It's been about six weeks now using this cream with every change and the rash has not come back. Most of the diaper creams on the market all use zinc oxide as the main active ingredient. So does this one. However, Triple Paste also includes ingredients I haven't seen included in other creams: lanolin, cornstarch, beeswax, and oat kernel extract. It has a thick formula, but spreads easily. There's no fragrance added. The only negative was that the thickness made it difficult to get the last little bit out of the tube. I'm ordering the large jar to keep on the changing table and keeping the tube in the diaper bag for travel. If other diaper rash treatments aren't doing the trick for you, give this one a shot.
5.0 out of 5 stars The absolute best of the best
This stuff is magic in a tube (or tub). I have three kids and have used this on all their bottoms along with a slew of other creams and ointments. Triple Paste might seem pricey but it is the only paste that truly works. It is nice and thick and provides a barrier on diaper rash that you need to avoid discomfort from when the kids mess a diaper when they already have a rash. It really does help to clear up the rash as well. I give this as part of my baby shower gifts to all expecting Moms I know as it might seem like a "splurge item" since it is one of the more expensive diaper creams on the market. You get what you pay for though and this stuff is worth every penny.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best diaper cream by far
I LOVE this cream. Used it for both of my kids as soon as I saw red in the diaper area and they have never had a diaper rash. My 4 year old obviously isn't in diapers anymore but I used this with him and he never had one diaper rash. Using it for my little girl now and so far, her bum is nice and clear. If they get red, use it and the next day, the irritation is gone. I HIGHLY recommend this cream. So glad I found it. I got a 2 pack. Threw one in the diaper bag and one is at home. It is expensive BUT it lasts a long time because it works. You don't have to use it every day. Only if you see them getting irritated and by the next day, it will be better. Also, it has no odor which is good because I can't stand smelly diaper creams. The only downside is that it is hard to get off in the bath but that's a good thing in a wet diaper so it doesn't bother me.
5.0 out of 5 stars Worked like a charm on stubborn diaper rash
My 9 month old had a diaper rash that wouldn't go away. This stuff gave results within 24 hours, not even the Nystatin prescribed had helped. In fact the rx made it worse. His diaper rash is completely gone now. This is my new go to diaper rash cream.
5.0 out of 5 stars Finally clear of recurrent diaper rashes (including yeast)!
Once my baby starting eating foods, he started having rashes that would start instantly after certain poops, and would regularly became yeast rashes which we had to fight for weeks and weeks and weeks. We gave him probiotics, and started with natural remedies like coconut oil, herbal healing salve, progressed to Butt Paste, and eventually A&D, at the pediatric nurse's recommendation. Still happened, with only weeks clear between bouts by the time he was 15 months old.He also has mild eczema and another skin condition, so when we finally saw a 2nd pediatric dermatologist, she recommended Triple Paste. AND HE'S BEEN CLEAR EVER SINCE. Maybe it won't be forever, but it's such a huge relief.
