I think he really enjoys the mix of pellets and other snacks in there he goes crazy hunting them down in his tank. I think it wouldBe cool if the lid was a cap kinda like seasonings with a half for a spoon and the other half with holes for a shaker option. Would make for a nice lid.

I have a water turtle that I've had for 29 years and he loves this food! It has good quality ingredients that are healthy for him as well. The size is great for the price and will probably last a year considering how much my turtle eats. I'll definitely be purchasing again.

We live in an area that has no pet stores... That being said we Started ordering our turtle food, Our turtle absolutely loves it.. I love the size of the container, great value. I love that it doesn't go bad and it has a good mix of his favorites and that it's good for him

I currently switched from Flukers to this Zoo Med Gourmet turtle food and all 4 turtles are enjoying it. Although I do have to say that my turtles seem to get excited about any food placed in the tank so maybe that's not the most convincing product review.I would have to say that it has made feeding them easier because of the mix of pellets, mealworms, shrimp and cranberries (Flukers just has pellets and mealworms.... occasionally you might get a dried shrimp or 2) allow you to just have one container of food instead of ordering multiple turtle food types. I also think that they need a variety of food for nutritional purposes and who just wants to eat pellets 365 days a year.I also noticed that this food didn't leave as much residue in the tank when I would clean it. Every time I cleaned the tank when using the Flukers food i would find a lot of what looks to be like pellets that decomposed at the bottom of the tank (maybe they didn't eat them all). So far the 2 months that I have been using the Zoo Med, I haven't run across any of the decomposed pellet like substance.The last thing i would like to bring up is that the amount of meal worms, dried shrimp and cranberries in the Zoo Med mix is very good. As I get towards the bottom of the bottle, I'm still getting a mix of everything. With the Flukers, it seemed like it was 90% pellets and 10% worms and about halfway through the Flukers you would see pretty much all pellets left. Plus when you get to the last bit of food in the Flukers container, you will see a lot of broken down mealworms in very small pieces or literally as meal worm dust.I don't think Flukers is a bad choice.... I'm just saying I think I found the Zoo Med Gourmet better for my turtles.

Premium quality turtle food
My turtle is an 18 year old ear eared slider, and despite the fact that she can't communicate with me, I cant tell how much she likes the food based on how fast she swims and chomps on the food. This is the only one that makes she go crazy when its feeding time. Its definitely premium quality as there is a good balanced mix of pellets, shrimp, dried fruits and etc. Its way better than the other brands that you find in store so I make sure to stock up when I'm low.
