Everything in this world just keeps changing, even when you don't want it to.Luckily for us, the people who make them have not yet been afflicted with the need to "update" them into something we won't recognize!Great peppermint chocolate candies, room temperature or cold in the fridge to prevent any melting or straight from the freezer (you have to give it a couple minutes so you don't break a tooth!).Also not a bad price when you order this quite large box.Enjoy! In all of my years on Earth, I've never eaten a York Peppermint Patty. For some reason the idea of chocolate and mint turned my stomach and made me feel sick. As a young teen, my big sister bought me chocolate/mint candy for Christmas and it hurt her so much when I was grossed out of the idea of eating them. Since then I tried hard to get used to eating chocolate and mint. I started with plain mint candies, moved on to mint tea and a few decades later I was eating an After-Eight mint once in a blue moon. Another decade passed and I got a hankering to try these York's. Bought 2 boxes and was going to learn to love them. No problem, I love these things!This is over 5 pounds of candy! It has a convenient opening in the box so you can open and close it easily, and grab a candy when you want. It would be great for office (or home) settings. I took my first candy and looked at it. It has shiny silver Mylar around the candy and notches to easily tear the packet open. It's dark chocolate coated, about the size of a silver dollar and about 4 quarters thick. I took my first bite, the inside mint part is white, firm yet soft (not liquidy or oozy like other types of chocolate covered mints I've had), and the candy melts in your mouth. These are addictive and the mint is perfect -- Although I would like if they could make an extra mint flavor as well. One is good, two is delightful and three will fill you up; any more than that and it's over-kill (ask me how I know). I love these in the evening after dinner. They are refreshing and seems to settle my stomach after the evening meal.I wasn't sure how others would like these but one night I brought a bundle to Bible study class and everyone LOVED them...they were gone really fast. Those 2 boxes are going quickly and I just ordered 2 more. They are a nice treat to bring as a gift or to hand out to others. Make sure you keep enough for yourself.

I've had these in the past, but they have never been my go-to snack. For some reason, scrolling through Bolo, I came across these and thought 175 peppermint patties were a good idea. These are good for what they are. However, since they have a chocolate and peppermint flavor, most people will not eat a lot of them at one time. I may eat one of these a day, so I guess I won't run out for six months.If you think the end times are near and need to stock up, get these. If not, order a smaller quantity unless you absolutely love peppermint.

Store size & industrial size.This retail box is the First Time all the patties were fluffy.Don't get me wrong, York Peppermint Patties will always be The Queen of Candy.They could arrive melted & crumbled and I would chill in the fridge, then pull out.Peel the dark chocolate away from wrapper letting the cool mint melt in my mouth.However, these patties are So Perfectly Packaged,Think this may be the First Time I got them as they leave the York Magic Factory.They are not condensed. They are Fluffy...Fresh..so much better.Maybe I just got a fluke fresh box but so trying this method again if they are This Good.It is A Lot of minis. Threw them in a 2.5gallon Hefty zipper bag & stored in freezer.Seems to be a bottomless quantity.It's been a month. 2 each evening, plus sharing is like nothing's been touched.One of my Top Ten Bolo purchases.
