I originally bought this for my daughter at TJ Maxx when she ran out of her Cereve cleanser. She didn’t want to use it because she loves brand names and didn’t know this one, I know it from living in England. It’s a great brand with ‘simple’ ingredients. Well she started using it and won’t go back now, if she goes back to Cereve she breaks out with raised bumps under the skin on her forehead. This gives her beautiful clean and clear skin. And I trust it as it’s made in the UK where ingredients are safe and it’s more regulated. You can’t find it at TJ’s anymore, please keep it stocked on Bolo forever!

I have dry skin, and the winner makes that even worse. Unfortunately, as much as I really wanted to love this face wash it dried out my skin more than I expected it to. I do love that it is animal, product, free, and free of animal testing. I would say that if you have moderately dry to normal skin, this would work well for you, for me, though since I have very dry skin, it did not work well.

I have been using the facial wash for well over a decade. After unsuccessfully trying what seemed like a gazillion facial washes, I found Simple. It was perfect for my very oily with dry areas skin and stayed being perfect as my skin became far less oily with age. Hope they never stop making this stuff AND the price is very reasonable.
