Installation and Care Instructions NOTICE: Review Frigidaire Refrigerator Use and Care Guide before installation and use of system. See fits models listing on Frigidaire.com. 1. Push the release button to remove current filter and discard. 2. Slide the new filter in until it clicks. 3. Run water through the dispenser for approximately 3 minutes, or 1.5 gallons, to prime the filter before use. Discard the water. 4. Replace every 6 months or 200 gallons (757 liters), whichever comes first.

I like water. Good water more specifically. I buy the fancy bottled water. I know, I am ridiculous. But this filter does my fridge proud. It was easy to install. Then run some water through it to get it flowing and clean it out a little. Then you have great tasting water. Simple, easy, and nice.It lasts us about 6 months, and I am a pretty heavy user, but the fridge notifies us when it is time to switch to a new one. They deliver it quickly and I have never gotten one damaged. Worth the buy in my opinion.

I just received my Fridgidaire WF2CB PureSource2 Ice and Water Filter Set in the mail today - 2 days shipping - Can't beat it! We could not find them at the local hardware and home improvement stores in town so naturally I went to Bolo and not only were they cheaper than most filters that you buy at big box stores, but it was the exact brand I needed. I prefer to buy the brand of the refrigerator and not the genetic cheaper version since it's water we are talking about. I'd rather pay a little more for the good stuff! All you have to do is take it out of the box and remove the two plastic end caps on bottom of filter, pop your old filter out and slide this in until it clicks. It went in very easily for me. The newer filter looks a little different than the older ones. One difference is my older filter was see through and you could see black but this is white and you cannot see through. It says to run the water for 3 minutes once you install filter so I grabbed a large pitcher and set my oven kitchen timer for exactly 3 minutes and let it run. It spewed a little bit and went in and out of pressure until right around the 3 minute mark, the filtered water came out evenly. I drank the water and it tasted amazing! Especially with some organic lemons squeezed inside! I am fortunately enough to be on well water and not the fluoridated city tap water, so I really enjoy drinking this water and saving money. I was drinking from bottled water before I found this filter and now I can save the bottled water for my emergency preparedness stash. I do believe we should all be saving water in case of natural disaster, economic collapse or civil unrest. We just never know what will happen in the future so it's always good to prepare yourselves with plenty of clean water, extra food and other items that we mostly take for granted. Anyways, I am glad that I can now hold onto all my bottles and just drink from the fridge - tastes great and I am saving money while being able to stock up! I hope this review helps you. Buying online is always the better way to go for saving money and getting what you want. God bless.
