Lubegard Universal Power Steering Fluid Protectant is for use with all power steering fluids and also converts power steering fluid into Honda Power Steering fluid. It incorporates the same unique patented liquid wax ester (LXE) technology found in Lubegard's automatic transmission fluid protectant which has been used, endorsed, designated and approved by multiple original equipment manufacturers (OEM's) around the world. Lubegard's power steering fluid protectant enhances power steering fluids by providing additional anti-wear, anti-corrosion and anti-friction compounds. This results in reduced wear, increased responsiveness and less noise. Lubegard's power steering fluid protectant also raises the thermal and oxidative stability of the fluid. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Open power steering fluid reservoir. If low, top off with LUBEGARD Power Steering Fluid Protectant. Do not overfill. If reservoir is full, up to 4 fluid ounces must be removed in order to add LUBEGARD Power Steering Fluid Protectant. For best results: Drain reservoir and flush with LUBEGARD Power Steering Flush (95040) along with 6 fl. oz. of power steering fluid, then refill with new power steering fluid leaving 4 fl. oz. short and then add LUBEGARD Power Steering Fluid Protectant.

The good news..it worked! I only added to my reservoir with a fresh flour change. I used about 2 oz only. The noise from my power steering is gone. It may have been the pump making a grunting noise on rotating the wheel. It's not making any noises now. I may use the other half after another reservoir change. I'm feeling gleeful.

I used this in my motorhome, a Workhorse W-22 model known for noisy power steering pump. I used 2 bottles since the system is so much larger than a passenger car. After a couple lock to lock turns of the steering wheel, the noise was 100% gone. I don't see why it wouldn't keep working. For the first time in years.After changing the power steering filter and fluid, there was no change, still noisy and irritating. Within minutes of pouring this stuff in, a decade long problem was fixed. Would recommend.

I had used the lubegard universal power steering fluid before in a 90s Dodge with a Cummins. The pump always whined and was worse when the temperatures dropped below freezing despite frequent fluid changes. After using this fluid, the pump quite making the noise. Fast forward a few years and I have a bought a car that has had a rough life with very little maintenance done to it. The steering was harder than it should have been and the pump made all kinds of noise when it was cold. After cycling three quarts of steering fluid through the system, the noise was gone, however, the steering was stiff. After draining a little fluid and adding lubegard, you could go lock to lock with a finger on the steering wheel while parked.

With a syringe I ran 4 rounds of fresh atf fluid through the system before adding the lube guard... So with the mixture of fresh PS fluid and the LG additive I have zero squealing now... So, I don't need to buy a new power steering system as of yet... I will update if anything changes or doesn't change... GoD Speed...

Ok, I'm impressed. Steering was a little noisy when it was cold and chattered really bad if you turned the when just a tiny but when idling on my Kenworth t680. Revues were good so I figured I would give this a try. The result is amazing. Power steering is completely quiet now. I'm going to be adding this to my other truck too.

I have been battling a minor power steering whine on cold starts around -3C and below. Usually lasts from 30 seconds to a minute. I have replaced all the fluid with new, and there was no difference, so I decided to try this from Lubegard. I have used their products before, with good results.....so....after about 400 kms, the whine is still there, BUT, only when temperatures are around -8C and lower.....so a bit of improvement. Steering seems smoother and easier now too.
