I went shopping for a variety of seaweed to put in a seaweed soup. I really like this brand. The quality was good. The flavor was great, and the ease of usage was perfect.

I ordered this because I planned on making a miso soup recipe.What a great find! I don't have to cut the seaweed or anything. These tiny pieces in the bag grow to the perfect size to throw in some miso soup or really any soup. Flavor was good. A little goes a long way so don't be like me and put too much in the first time. I would would re purchase when I run out, but this will last me quite a while. I thought it was a good deal. Much better than running out to the international food store that is over a 40 minute drive from my home.

It's certainly dried seaweed that expands dramatically when soaked in water. Use much less than you think you need as a little goes a long way. The texture and taste of this product was just OK. I had attempted to replicate the tasty seaweed salad from Tao, but this isn't quite what they are using. A little fishy and the texture isn't quite as crisp. But, perhaps that's because it's seaweed.

All that's needed for one serving is a few pieces of the dried seaweed soaked in water for 10 mins. It goes well with my eggs or in soup. A small amount when hydrated, goes a long way.
