This is a no-nonsense pair of DVD's on snipers, with an honest look at what they do, how they do it, and why. The special features are cool too, though as usual, (And I hate to say it, but he is paid for it) Mack raves a bit too much over some of the tech. Some of it's worth raving about, some, not really. However the main stars of the DVD are the sniper competition stuff, and the weapon profiles. The Sniper competition stuff is great, with clear images, good sound, and good angles so you can actually see what's going on. The voiceover explains anything the people being interviewed doesn't, and you get to see some really good shooting, as well as some really spectacular training, including shooting from helicopters. It's also multi-national, so you get to see people from other countries competing against US Military branches. The weapons proifiles are nice stuff too. Each weapon profile is basically an advertisement for the gun, but you learn a lot about each gun and yoou get to see the guns in action.Overall, I was happy with the DVD's, and reccomend them to anyone interested in snipers, sniper weapons, or how snipers train.

if you are interested in seeing the very best snipers in the world and the very best sniper weapons in the world, this dvd is handsdown, the best on the market. it has the top sniper competition for the last two years. you will get to see robbie johnson make a 780 yard shot, in a significiant wind, hitting a dinner plate size target while kneeling with his sako trg-42 .338 lapua, resting on a simple tripod. it made me proud to be an american. plus see the top ten sniper weapons, of today, in detail and in action. I would like to buy a case a beer for robbie johnson/jason st. john (his spotter) and the one who put this dvd together.

I've seen both 'Top Sniper I' and 'Top Sniper II' (as aired on the Military Channel) and they are first-class! When I first came across this DVD, I was surprised that Bolo hadn't put in any information about it (!). So... this dvd is great, the military channel doesn't mess around, this gives a lot of intel on weapons and tactics snipers use. I've watched it about a hundred times and I learn something new and cool every time.
Eye of the Sniper
I'm new to the whole firearm sport and hunting and I tell you I learned a lot with this DVD.... mostly with the second DVD where it shows you the top sniper rifles in the world, it is amazing to see how they come up with their list and it gives you a good understanding of different top calibers and limitations!!!!!This DVD will definitely be very interesting to someone who is into firearms from beginners to experts!!!! Buy it and enjoy it!!!!!Cheers,

Interesting but not very educational
I liked it but don't expect a lot of tactical information. Same goes for the tools of the trade, you will get much more information about the guns by reading some of the books on the subject. I would not hesitate to buy it again though.Chasseur
