Inositol may not just be a match for some people experiencing side effects. For me personally, inositol really helps me with a certain nervous system issue. I have not had any issues with taking inositol. So, first establish whether inositol is right for you.If it is — this is THE most excellent supplement. I have been taking a scoop (sometimes a scoop and a half) daily and I have had absolutely amazing results. I usually mix it with Coke Zero and a lemon at lunch time. Kind of odd, I know but my body likes it this way. I really love Pure Encapsulations, this product is pure, clean, dissolves really really well and I have not had any issues.I would recommend to be careful and not exceed the dosage, I found that for me a scoop per day is just about right. I have not had any side effects to speak of after it taking it daily for years. On the contrary, it really helps with some of my nerve issues, I feel how well it works and if I miss a day, my body feels it too so I try to not travel without it.In summary, IF inositol is right for you, this is the crispest, purest inositol. Thank you to Pure Encapsulations for producing this product. I like taking mine with food at lunch and for some reason like mixing it with Coke Zero — I tried other ways to mix it, I like Coke Zero the best.The powder has no taste, mixes quite well and does the job.If inositol is right for you, there is no better mix to get!

I bought this because I suffer from PCOS.Taste: There is a sweet taste to it where I believe anyone can drink it without a problem. To me it's like a lightly sweet cake taste. It's not nasty at all and even if you don't like sweets it shouldn't bother you at all. The taste is almost nonexistent.Measuring-----------------So please be aware it does come with a measuring scoop but you may not see it right away. It may be packed away in the powder. I made the mistake of trying to measure it myself (thinking there wasn't anything to measure with). I used two spoonfuls the first time and I quickly realized I used too much. I found the measuring cup buried in the powder after the second time.I think you should take a spoon and dig around in the powder for it. When you hit a hard spot, that will the the plastic measuring spoon.I say pour at least 3 oz of water into a glass and then put two scoops in and mix for about 10 seconds. It says to do this one to two times daily (which I just realized). I have only done it once a day.Price: To me I think the price is kind of high but from the looks of the jar, I think the product will last a long time. This company seems to have the purest products from doing my research.Effects------------It seemed to have increased my cervical mucous and also seems to be trying slowly to regulate my period.I also suffer from hirsutism. Maybe I'm dreaming but it seemed to be slow down the hair growth with is a plus. I shaved my legs almost a week ago and it didn't fully grow back yet. Sometimes, it could grow back the next day. I did use Veet it's time.I never had hair on my upper arms until last year. It's not really noticeable but it's there. It seems to somehow be disappearing (maybe becoming even lighter).It seems to really put me more at ease and I do have a great sleep when taking it.Please only take at least an hour BEFORE you eat or at least two hours AFTER you have had a meal. It says to take in between meals. It will not hurt your stomach but if you eat food and take this right after or you take this and don't wait an hour... you may have to visit the bathroom a few times. I made that mistake but it has only happened if I didn't wait to eat or wait two hours after a meal. Other than that, I haven't had any problems. :)

(Don’t have PCOS, type two diabetes/ hyperglycemia, depression, not trynna get pregnant)Literally tastes like a sweetener. No bitterness, bad smell or weird aftertaste. Seriously mix it in ANYTHING or take it straight up. Still good.I’m taking inositol for heavy HEAVY menstrual flow. After taking the 4g dose for an entire cycle, my flow went from “am I gonna bleed out” to “I could use a tampon if I wanted”. All in all, I’d say flow was cut by 2/3.This is the first thing I’ve tried to have any significant effect. My heavy flow isn’t caused by endometriosis or fibroids so I’ve been grasping at straws trying to fix it.We gotta talk about these side effects though.My PMS accelerated to PMDD levels while taking this and pretty much lasted from ovulation to menses. INTENSE: Achy all over, poor sleep, anxiety, paranoia, irritability, sore breasts, the works. I was at work box breathing every hour looking like a full meltdown hahahahahaAfter all that, I thought I could cheat. So I waited until ovulation to start taking it. No side effects but the flow went right back to Carrie.Another full month of supplementation and terrible side effects later, and I got the desired lighter flow.It is what it is.For those with similar issues, myo-inositol did absolutely nothing for severe cramps and nausea.I’ve been also taking liposomal glutathione for a month and some change, which has helped significantly with both.
