I've been a long time user of McCormick's Turkish Bay leaves for soups and stews, but they don't seem to be available in supermarkets, anywhere, anymore. I was hesitant, with the "gourmet" and "organic" labels, thinking it wouldn't taste the same. This product is as good as the bay leaves I was used to. Slightly pricier, but that always seems to be the case with most things tagged "organic."These bay leaves are far superior to the cheaper bay leaves I've tried. Only 2 bay leaves are necessary in a 5 quart soup or stew, so this bottle will last quite a long time.I would highly recommend this product to those who were used to the "original" Turkish bay leaves formerly found in supermarkets.
