Bough this to pull a major dent in the side of my sons pick up truck from a fender bender. I have done body work as a hobby for a long time and have used conventional dent pullers in the past. This tool was incredible and the puller that came with it worked like a dream. We drifted the dent out of the side of the truck to the point that it only needed a skim coat of bondo to be finished. It was grate having none of the holes required by a conventional dent puller. Great industrial quality tool.

This little guy is great, especially for the price. I actually bought it to hang insulation in my workshop (I welded studs to the structure and bent them over the insulation to keep it up) I used ~800 studs, over the course of about four 8hour days, so it can keep up with production pretty well. I burnt up the circuit breaker once, and got a new one at NAPA for $5.00.While the 2.0mm studs gave me good fusion and made a strong weld, it doesn't seem to have enough juice to properly weld the 2.6mm studs (they broke off with almost no effort). That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Stick with the smaller diameter studs and you'll love this thing.

I haven't used mine yet but my younger brother is still a professional body man and says the H&S stud welders are the best and what he uses. He works for a large chain and says this is widely used brand. I am excited to try it out.

This is an excellent tool. I had never used a stud welder before. Very easy to use. It only takes a few studs before you get the hang of it. Just make sure all the paint is removed and don't leave it on too long (or you will burn a hole thru the body). You will figure it out in short order. Look at a video online before you use it (there are many instructional videos available). You get a good number of studs included as well. Enough to pull many dents. Another nice feature is, the studs won't fall out of the gun if you tilt it down before you weld to the body. All in all well, worth the money. I highly recommend it.

I needed one of these since I had major dents on my 93 rx7 project car. I first looked over at eastwood but their prices were very high. I then found this on Bolo. It is the exact same brand that eastwood sells but for 50% less!!! It is not cheap in any way and a good heavy duty hard working tool. It also comes with a box of studs and a nice slide hammer. I found that you can re-use the studs very easily. Only reason you would ever need more studs is if you were working on 10 cars at the same time. I pulled major dents and creases out of my car with this tool. Buy it here and save the cash for other tools and parts for your ride....
