Replaced my 20+ year old Grohe 47310 cartridge. The 47582 looks different/new design, very expensive... but it works!!!

Pretty pricy for a shower cartridge, but necessary when it no longer delivers the temp you set. Needed a 15/16 deep well socket to remove the old one.

Our shower started to produce only one lukewarm temperature, which definitely wasn't desired. This has the same part number as what I pulled out of the valve, but it has definitely been redesigned. See the included image for what the old design for this part looks like.It does come with a tiny packet of lubricant, enough to do the o-rings on the cartridge and on the outer housing of the valve if you're judicious.No real issues with it, fairly easy to calibrate (even if the numbers in an absolute sense are rather arbitrary). My biggest gripe with this thing is how much it costs, hardly seems like this should be $200.

Needed a new cartridge as the shower was not delivering hot water any longer. Grohe customer service assured me this was the correct cartridge although it did not look like the installed one. They said it had had a redesign in the intervening years. Received it, installed it and now our shower is delivering hot water.

Be careful ordering this part from Bolo. I ordered two, to refresh two shower valves in my home.One part was brand new with bright metal and ready to install.The other (pictured) was covered in wrench-marks, tarnished, and covered in oxidation from use. Clearly this was removed from service as defective and returned to Bolo, and they didn't bother to check the part before sending it to me. I've returned that one for replacement and hoping I get a new valve this time...If your purchase is time-sensitive, order from a real distributor.

Doesn't mix cold and hot water well.
Occasionally on one side of the showerhead, cold water is expelled and on the other side, it is hot.Disappointed to say the least.I paid a plumber $100 to install so I'm loathe to return.I guess I'll just make do.
