Your coco water is a common staple in my house like Coke and Dr. Pepper.Very refreshing and hydrates fast after a workout or any type of physical activity. It hits the spot, but you may want to only drink a can when you need to rehydrate. This way the pack lasts longer. I'll definitely buy more. You have a fan for life as long as you don't mess with the formula.

Doesn't really taste like coconut - It may be no use to write this description for folks who do not like coconut flavor, as I'm sure they won't likely be shopping for anything with "coconut" in the title, but there you have it - doesn't really taste like coconut.Fact is, Amy & Brian Natural Coconut Juice Pulp Free has exceedingly little flavor at all, and what flavor there is rides down your throat as a vaguely fresh fruit/fresh vegetation flavor, decidedly not sweet, not tart - just mild, easy to gulp refreshment.As to the promised effects - yes, this will hydrate you quite quickly, restore a sense of energy, and make it easier to face work outdoors in the heat. More importantly, no crash like sugary sweet drinks. It also has staved off leg cramps for me - just as well as, if not better than scarfing down bananas - take a note of the potassium content on this one.As to other brands, you've got the ones with sugar, or even worse, HFC. They of course taste sweeter, and usually have coconut bits in them. Shop ethnic groceries and enjoy, but do note the sugar. As to the more readily available non-sugared ones (Zico, O.N.E., etc) I just think Amy & Brian taste a bit better as Amy & Brian does not have the funny aftertaste that I've detected in those cardboard carton brands. (problem with the packaging??)To sum up - a hot weather staple in our house. Beats gatorade every time.

Since becoming pregnant, I've really had a hard time staying hydrated enough! My skin & hair is dry, my lips split, it's been awful so, when a friend suggested I try drinking coconut water, I was all for it! I ran to the grocery store & grabbed one of every brand/flavor & while it took some getting used to (I don't know if I was expecting it to be a pina colada or what!), none of them tasted terrible & I did notice a difference in my hydration after just a couple of days.After doing some more reading, I learned that the general opinion is that Thai coconuts are sweeter and so, when I found a case of Thai coconut water at a really good price at Cash & Carry, I scooped it up, even though the ingredients weren't listed on the case & I'd have to wait til I opened it. Well, there was definitely added sugar & it gave the beverage a cloying, sickly-sweet flavor, almost as if it was spoiled. PLUS, it had a very tinny aftertaste. All in all, a waste.I was very leery of trying canned coconut water again, figuring I'd have to stick to the super-expensive boxed brands at the grocery store but, after reading all the positive reviews for Amy & Brian's, I figured it was worth a shot. UPS just dropped it off and, since the can was very cold from being in the delivery truck, I cracked one open right away. DELICIOUS! It is very clean & light tasting with no chemical or tinny taste. Fabulous product and I'm definitely going to up my subscribe & save quantity!-Sarah
