My favorite tape for wrapping gifts. I only buy 3M Scotch tape the magic version (green box) and this transparent one (red box). It cuts cleanly, doesn't gum up, does it's job, and works well.

This glossy tape sometimes takes 2 hands to cut. It is a little thicker than their matte finish. In a generic tape review their complaint was that it was hard to tear off one-handed. My recommendation: Either purchase a NEW tape dispenser, buy the matte tape instead, OR clean up the cutter area with an alcohol pad to thin the tape glue AND buff the points with a METAL nail file. Sounds a bit much, but I like the way this tape adheres to what I tape. Like the Clear. So, a couple minor fixes, Especially the old tape glue removal and I believe you will be satisfied as well. TT
