It is great. I usually prefer wood pencils because I hate the tiny lead on other mechanical pencils. This is the 0.9mm lead and it is strong and smooth. The fat pencil grip is great too. I love this pencil. The reason why is the grip.At first, I was not sure why everyone wanted this pencil. It is not made of metal, it does not have any fancy mechanism inside, so what made it so popular? The grip is what.When I used my friend's sumo grip pencil, once I held the grip it was so satisfying. It has a nice squishy feel to it, holds perfectly in your hands, allows you to hold it without having hand cramps, and it is hard to go back to a thin pencil after using it for awhile.I think this pen is worth it, especially if you have to do a lot of math, physics, or engineering problems (like me :P)0.9mm lead is great too. The lead does not break as often, it is really bold, and think in line weight. I notice though that the 0.5 lead is easier to write with because 0.9 lead takes more force to put lines. Maybe it has to do with an increase resistance, due to the larger radius of the lead.Also, for some sumo grip pencils the tips can get unscrewed. Sometimes, the eraser on the pencil is sometimes uncomfortable to use since it retracts the pen and releases more lead. But that might just be me. I use one of those square erasers to avoid this.Love the grip though !

I really like this mechanical pencil. It's fat and the rubber grip is soft. Good eraser. I gave it 4 stars because the clip broke off and the grip yellowed. Does not affect its performance though.

The fact that this pencil is clear / white is what drew me to it in the first place since I love the minimalist look of it. Most pencils come in bright colors (which I despise) but this one blends in my decor so well. On top of that, the fact that this is a 0.9mm lead pencil makes for a very smooth writing, which is what I prefer for any pencils and pens. I love darker writing so I ordered 0.9mm leads in 2B, which makes everything that I write very easily readable since it is a darker color and thus, has much more of a contrast when writing on white paper.The pencil itself has a larger barrel but it quite light weight, which makes it very comfortable to write with. How I wish I had this pencil was I was a University student ! But what I love the most about this pencil is the fact that it has a jumbo twist eraser. It is so practical and lasts for a very long time. This is by far, my favorite pencil that I own and that is saying a lot because I own quite a few of them. The only downside to this pencil is that since it has a larger barrel, it is sometimes hard to fit it in a pen loop. But I love writing with this so much, that I don't care.
