Nice quality, easy install. Seen good reviews on YouTube and other places. I bought a off brand radiator a 5+ years ago and just started leaking slightly. Figured it wouldn't make it through the winter so while it's still warm out do it.Buy the metal trans line removal tool from liesle, much better than the plastic tool. Fittings are good, no issues yet (installed 3 weeks ago), comes complete except no cap.

Fits and works great just like oem part. But had a small corner of the plastic broken off. Doesnt leak though so no biggy. I dont know if the explorers are set up the same way but in my mercury mountaineer changing the radiator is way harder than it should be. You have to remove the air conditioning radiator with the regular radiator unless you cut some corners literally of the plastic mounting. I did cut the mounting so i didnt have to recharge my a/c after taking that apart to get the radiator out. Also the tranny cooler lines are a bear to get loose so dont get the cheap plastic disconnect tools get a real metal tool or something better than i had.

Fit my 2007 Explorer XLT 4.0. Its held up for 5 months so far. The only issue was the transmission line couplings. They are larger on this replacement than on the factory. Would have been an easy switch except the factory couplers were too tight to get the removal tool in. So once I cut the factory connectors apart and removed the lines, they fit perfectly into the smaller sized couplers included with the radiator. I would purchase this again, but I'm hoping I never need to.

Both side tanks leaked after 3 years. Not exactly like the original, transmission line connections are not O.E. size so you have to change them, forcing you to use or buy a special transmission line disconnect tool. I've had good luck with Spectra fuel senders and fuel pumps but i've never had a good experience with their radiators. 6 radiators for various vehicles bought over 15 years and they either don't fit or leak shortly after the warranty runs out.

My old stock radiator has a pin size leak on the right hand side and started to leak coolant at a consistent rate. I have to refill my expansion tank every week. I couldn't put up with this issue any longer when my fan clutch started to go over drive trying to cool the engine due to the lack of coolant and my acceleration drop with high rpm.Either replacing the defective radiator or paying thousands to replace the engine. I was quoted from 600 - 1000 by the local auto repair shop and the dealers. No way I'm paying that much for a simple job so I decided to do it myself.Bolo has the lowest price on the spectra premium. Spectra premium is from Canada and produce high quality radiators. They are highly recommended.Received the radiator on time and it was well packaged. I did not use the included trans cooler line connectors. I bought the Dorman 800-621 connector instead and also replaced the upper and lower rad hoses.Installed it myself and flush the system accordingly. Had it on for awhile now and no leak! The noisy fan clutch and the high acceleration also went away.Overall very happy with spectra premium radiator and would recommend it.

Pretty easy to install although the OEM support brackets that you have to reuse didn't fit this radiator exactly. I got it to work, but definitely a slight fitment issue there. Also could use more packaging materials other than the flimsy foam. The box was beat up pretty bad and the radiator got knocked around pretty good in the shipping. So far no leaks! Comes with all the hardware you need, but you will need to reuse your radiator cap or purchase a new 20psi one.

I had to cut the rubber on both side at the bottom to get the thing to fit.2007 ford explore 4,Liters.I would take the old one into an auto parts store and size it before I would buy it.This one is about 5% short .
