I apparently had built up such a bad case that not even my doctor could remove it. I was desperate and uncomfortable, and found this brand recommended by a Reddit user. It completely cleared the blockage along with a spray bottle kit like Urgent Care clinic used which I also got off Bolo. I saved myself a repeat visit to be treated by UrgentCare at literally 2/3 less of the cost than I spent at my original visit.

We went to the pediatrician, my child is 16 and had tubes in her ears in KINDERGARTEN and the dr can see the tube stuck in lodged wax in my child’s ear that is blocking her hearing. The dr tried everything to flush the ear and was trying to keep from having to send us to the ENT. I bought these to try on a wing and a prayer that we could soften it and the dr could get it in a week when we were set to go back. Success, THANK YOU!!! I can not back these enough, 10/10, huge money saver and my daughter never remembers hearing better.

Otex Express lists its components as urea hydrogen peroxide, 8-hydroxyqunoline, and glycerol. Concentrations are not given. The instructions say that once opened, the bottle should be discarded after four weeks. I used it per instructions, for 5 days (the instructions suggest to use it for 3-4 days, twice a day), in my left ear. I could not say that I felt any difference, or anything came out. For my right year, I used another brand, very popular and readily available on Bolo, based on carbamide peroxide. The comparison is not totally fair because I used carbamide peroxide for about a week - two days longer than Otex. Not sure how much difference it made. I was able to wash a couple of small soft pieces of wax from my right ear, while nothing came out of the left ear. I ended up going to the doctor's office for ear cleaning. The right ear which I treated with carbamide peroxide had relatively little wax left, and it it was soft enough to suck it out very quickly. The left ear, treated with Otex, took a lot of time and even special Rx grade softening drops to remove all wax. From this, I concluded that Otex was not efficient for me, less efficient that cheaper local brands. I also concluded that ear drops can soften the wax and can make the removal procedure easier, but they may or may not actually help to get rid of wax - I guess, it is a matter of luck.

He gets anxious using meds or things in his ears so only let me put 3 drops in on the night time told him I’d do more next morning and he said yes but the first lot seemed to clear up his ears and he was really happy that they worked and h didn’t have to use loads . Very Good Product
I read all the reviews of this product prior to purchasing it for my 90 year old sister. It sounded fantastic so I decided to buy it for her. I explained how to use it and when to start but the nurse at the retirement facility told me that it was too thick to do it's job. I live on one side of the city and she is at the other so I am not there every day to check and see how it's being done. I will only say that I highly agree with all the wonderful reviews about this product, except mine. I am sure that it will work wonderfully for everyone except my sister.
Works Well But Dislike the Dropper
This product does work for me, however I don't like the dropper. i find it very difficult to actually know how much you're using and it's a bit too easy to accidentally use too much. Also the shape could be improved to get further into your ear.

Writing this review with my head to the side so sorry if there's mistake. My ears got full of wax being of lckdoen so I didn't fancy a trip to the docs. So for a few week I banged some olive oil in there Nd nothing. The pain got worse and was driving me to sleepless nights. Just had a motorbike accident nearly 2 years ago and not recovered from those sleepless nights so the ear really annoyed me. So then I bought some twizzel things off here that looked promising but soon as they came I gave it a twizzels... low and behold shoves the wax straight in and am deaf! So for the past week I've not had much sleep. 4am the other day I was in the shower with the head down me lug hole. Trying to flush it out it was so bad... no luck so I thought I'll get these drops and see if they work. Last resort literally... just got home from work and banged 5 drops in as it said on the packet. Next thing me earn goes propper deaf and I was just thinking that's it am deaf for good ! About 5 mins later I ask our gert if she she's any wax down me lug. She days no just wax and oil.... I didn't know how to take it so I assumed she saw wax but not the beast deep inside. So I walked into the kitchen and grabbed some 1 sheet Nd give it wipe. I looked at the sheet N deffo needed 2 sheet. Low and behold there a great big lump of wax on the 1 sheet and I can hear again. Louder then the other ear!!! So I dropped 5 in the other side and wrote this review! Thanks so much for sorting my problem out when nothing else worked. I feel like I owe you so much more money than the 5 pounds or so it cost. I would pay 4 times the ammount for the stuff! I know it sounds daft but if you even haven't got blocked ears id be buying a couppe for when it happens. When guys. Be prepared.Thank you so much !!!!Jack
