I was using the Aldi brand dishwasher gel. It did a good job for the most part in my Ecozy countertop dishwasher, but could not get the stubborn mug stains out. I was looking for a stronger detergent, and was on the fence about the pods because obviously I do not need that much detergent for the size of the dishwasher. This was perfect and got rid of the stubborn stains on a regular cycle that the heavy cycle could not. Very happy.

I don't know why I ever started buying pods. Did you know that pods actually do not go in the dishwashing detergent compartment? They are to be thrown in the dishwasher at the bottom. Regardless, You are not getting a better clean out of a pod and you are actually getting less product per wash for more money! This detergent cleans well and takes the same amount of effort and time as a pod, to add to the dishwasher. It also cleans really great and smells great. Never going back to pods.

while it offers good value, I do have a couple of reservations. The detergent provides decent cleaning results; however, I have noticed that it doesn't clean as effectively as some other brands I've tried. Additionally, I wish the price point was a bit lower, as it can be more affordable options available.

We have been comparing the cleaning products in our house for over a year and we are finding not everything delivers for the money. However, this product is a great liquid gel soap for the automatic dishwasher. It is a good product. It gets a thumbs up from us.

I run my dishwasher with this stuff every other day and the bottle lasts a LONG time. I don't have any issues with left over residue, it cleans my dishes well, the scent is very nice, and it is a good value.If you're in the market for some quality dishwasher detergent, I would recommend buying this.I hope this review was helpful!

I did the test myself. I took Palmolive, Cascade, and Finish; all liquid and did several loads of each with relatively the same level of dirty dishes. I used the Finish Jet dry also. I have an LG dishwasher with the steam feature. We have extremely hard water with a high iron content. The water eats up water softeners and toilets and sinks stain horribly. We also have a water service to help with the high iron content. I read all of the information on what kind of detergent to use. Pods are out no matter who makes it. Powder is out. The clear winner was Finish. The dishes were obviously cleaner. It even helped previously etched glassware. # 2 was Palmolive and last place was Cascade. Finish is all I will use now.

First, bottle came broken. Not the product’s fault. I was excited to use because I don’t have the best dishwasher in the world (currently renting an apartment due to life circumstances). I’ve been using power balls for years, which I was used to in my old house and never had an issue. This dishwasher leaves powder behind on my dishes. But my dishes were always clean. I just rinsed the powder off and called it a day.I decided to try the gel to see if it helped. I ran my dishwasher. After the cycle was done, I opened the door and saw that the gel was all over the door. So I thought we’ll, it’s probably on my dishes still then. Re ran the cycle without adding more detergent. Cycle done. Still leftover gel in the hatch. Ran cycle again. Went to bed.Woke up and there was still some gel left in the hatch. I decided to just wipe it out and started the process of cleaning the excess water off my dishes. My salad bowl was still an oily mess inside! 3 cycles and not clean. I threw the power all tab in and ran a cycle and clean. I guess I’ll just have to deal with rinsing the powder off my dishes until I get back in a house

Overall, the gel is pretty cost-effective relative to the tabs. The scent is neutral-ish, not amazing, not bad and doesn't leave any offensive smells on dishes. I have mixed feelings about the cleaning power- it seems to clean okay but sometimes leaves a bit of residue. I'm not sure if this is because I'm putting in too much gel.I will probably end up buying dish pods as well and then supplementing the prewash with the gel. For those who use pods, this is important- since during the prewash cycle, the main detergent door doesn't open, if you don't put some gel in, the dishes will not be cleaned fully per the manufacturer spec. I'm hoping that pairing this gel with more expensive tabs gives the best of both worlds.
Looks diluted
I purchased this product because it seemed to be the best deal. When I went to use the product the liquid came out very watery and not like other times when I had purchased this product in a store.
