Every Dorman replacement part I've ever gotten for my 2001 Suburban has worked great, and this window regulator was no exception. After 20+ years of faithful service, the OE regulator finally gave out and seized up. Fortunately, I was able to get the window in the up position before it did. When I located the Dorman replacement on Bolo, I didn't hesitate a moment before ordering.Replacing one of these things is not a particularly hard job, but I've never done it on this truck, so, I had to take a little time checking out a few YouTube videos before I got started, which were VERY helpful. The part comes with a single page of decent written instructions, but if "a picture paints a thousand words," a good instructional video paints ten thousand. If you know what you're doing, this job should take about a half-hour or less. If you don't know what you're doing, it'll take longer, but still, not more than an hour or two.The OE came out pretty easily; the Dorman replacement fit perfectly into its place, and worked like a charm ... my window is back in action, for no more than the cost of the replacement part. Dorman/Bolo did the trick for me again. Five stars.
