Diesel Fuel Supplement +Cetane Boost is a winterizer/antigel that is used in the cold winter months to prevent fuel gelling and keep fuel-filters from plugging with ice and wax. When temperatures drop, paraffin (wax) in ULSD fuel will gel stopping fuel from flowing through the engine, and water in the fuel can freeze on the facings of fuel-filters, blocking fuel flow. It provides trouble-free winter operation for diesel fuel.
Diesel Fuel Supplement +Cetane Boost is intended for use only during cold winter months when temperatures drop below +30F. Use Diesel Kleen +Cetane Boost (in the silver bottle) for peak performance in non-winter months. If your vehicle will not start or gain power in cold temperatures, use Diesel 911 (in the red bottle).

Love this product and it was a better value this way. Unfortunately I actually never received it as it got lost somewhere in transit so I had to go and buy it from the store because I needed it. It’s sad that sometimes things being shipped either don’t come or they get lost somewhere. Thank you for the refund.

I've used Power Service for a long time on various Diesels. I certainly notice a difference in power and fuel economy during the winter months, when Diesel suppliers lower the Cetane in their fuel.Me including many others, highly recommend this product if you own a newer Common Rail style diesel. These newer style injection systems pump fuel at a very high rate and added with the lower lubricity of Ultra Low Sulfur diesel, this is a must! VW's especially are known for their HPFP (high pressure fuel pump) failing and causing thousands of dollars due to a poor pump design and lack of proper lubrication.I always make sure to add in some at every fuel up. White bottle in the Winter, Grey bottle in the Summer.The only drawback to this large bottle, is that it makes pouring into the tank a messy task sometimes. Especially during windy day's. I'd like to see them include a built in spout into the bottle, similar to the design some gas injection bottles have. Where you can calculate the exact amount you want to add with a no frills and spills clean design. For the time being I just use a funnel and try to be careful.

The title pretty much says it all. I use one of these large 80 oz. bottles for every tank of #2 fuel oil (~225 gallons) and never had a problem. My tank is semi-covered & semi-shielded from the wind which also helps a bunch, but the surrounding enclosure is not insulated, so this stuff is my insurance policy for those long cold Maine Winter nights that can get down to -20°F. I used to depend on Kerosene or a mixture of Kerosene and oil during Winter months, but since I discovered this stuff I saved a ton of money using just treated #2 fuel oil (especially by buying it on Bolo in bulk rather than the small bottles at Home Depot).Plus, it's so simple to use. When I know the oil truck is coming, I just pour one of these bottles in the tank before going to work, and then when the guy fills the tank it automatically mixes the supplement with the oil. No sweat.

I've been using Power Service in my Golf for the 2 years I've had it and my average MPG is 47 (my car is only rated for 44 highway). I am a skier and use my car to drive to the resorts; when I use the anti-gel Power Service (white bottle, 1080 part number) instead of the normal Power Service (gray bottle, 3080 part number) my MPG drops a little, BUT, I've never had my fuel gel, even when temperatures dropped below 0 degrees F. Another big benefit over not using anything is the cetane boost; if I have to fill up from a supplier I'm not too sure about, I feel a little better knowing the cetane boosting aspect of it will help lubricate my fuel system.When using the white bottle, my car is a little louder than when using they grey bottle. Ram ran good all winter even at -45, no issues starting at all, backed by dodge for warranty as well
