A friend made me aware of Adele, I had never heard of her. But, now I am telling all my friends about her. She has a dusky, soulful voice and is a great deliverer of text. Her music is easy to listen to, just washes over you. The dual-disk is awesome. The second is an "unplugged" version of the first. I enjoyed both equally. I highly recommend this CD to people who like sultry jazz with an alternative style.

This has got to be one of the best debut albums of all time. I never get sick of listening to it (reminds me of Tracy Chapman's debut back in 1988 in this regard). I bought this 2 disc release on Bolo instead of digital downloads, in order to get the second CD that is included. It's nice to have the live performances of the songs for just a few bucks more.

I purchased the Deluxe Edition of Adele's album, "19", after having owned (and ADORED!!) her subsequent album, "21".I would characterize "19" as the younger, more fun-loving sister of "21". The latter is so much more deep, soulful and moving, that I find myself reverting back to it whenever I want to listen to (and belt out!) some powerhouse, 'you-broke-my-heart-but-I'm-going-to-be-just-fine' kind of ballads. "19" has a good mix of lighter and more intense tracks which are really great for variety within the same artist & genre.That being said, both are eloquently written and recorded by Adele with talent and grace beyond her years. I'm also a big fan of ACTUAL instruments being used in the recording process, and you can really appreciate that with both of her records, especially in the live bonus tracks on the Deluxe 2 Disk Edition of "19".If you are a fan of UK R&B/Soul with a retro feel (such as Amy Winehouse, Duffy, etc), chances are, you'll LOVE Adele. I recommend both albums.Enjoy!

I',m so glad I bought this album. I play it along with Heather Masse over and over. I love most music but these really touch my heart. I have it on my iPod the stereo and the car.

This cd isn't as good as 21 by Adele but it still has some great stuff on it. I just love Adele & hope she continues making stellar music with her amazing voice!

Adele's 19 is a soon to be classic. Her throaty voice and soul filled lyrics make this album a great straight through listen. If you dont have it, get yourself a copy!

did not pay too much attention to adele until i heard her stunning 21 cd. it made me an instant fan and naturally made me go back to her no less than stunning debut. the record is on a less than equal footing with 21 but nonetheless superb, particularly my favorite tracks, make you feel feel my love, tired, chasing pavements and cold shoulder.the bonus live disc is just the perfect icing on the cake.

Bonus CD ist besser als eigentliche CD
Die Bonus CD ist sehr gut. Da merkt man bei den live Aufnahmen das Adele auch tatsächlich singen kann. Die normale CD ist ok. Man merkt das 21 und 25 deutlich besser sind. Adele entwickelt sich. Die 30 muss ich aber noch ein paar Mal hören um diese zu beurteilen.
