No yucky plastic lamination. They are durable and strong and have a smooth finish without being slippery, very important to avoid in dpns in particular. They feel great and I love the elongated taper that helps to pick up stitches easily. Just wish they came in a set.

I am working on baby booties as a gift and needed some additional double point needles. I had ordered some other knitting needles from a different vendor and they were not shipped properly and were totally flattened out as if they were run over by a car. This vendor shipped well, ensuring the needles were wrapped and shipped to avoid damage which was greatly appreciated!What I like about these Clover needles: Study, smooth, well made. No quality issues. You receive 5 DPN's per pack which is helpful if you start two little projects at the same time or if you're knitting socks which often requires multiple DPN's. As you use them they get even smoother and the feel is very nice, can almost be slick but in a positive for knitting without damaging delicate yarns. I mention that as I have tried other wood knitting needles that were not as smooth and were more difficult to work with. As a reference, I pretty much only use ADDI circular knitting needles (Turbo, Lace) for their quality and I would say these clover needles are the wood double point equivalent especially after a couple uses. The best way to describe it, the wood gets smoother, sort of a patina from working them with your hands which makes the very nice and easy to knit with.What I don't like? Seriously nothing. I just need more of them.

Double pointed needles are notoriously difficult to work with, and these are no exception. But they are good quality and hopefully will not break. I got these dpn's in US size 2 and 7. So far I've used the latter to knit a hat and it's been a relatively smooth experience. A very good brand I would buy again.

Always happy with Clover products, and these are no different. Perfect, smooth double-pointed knitting needles. Comfortable to hold. Comes with 5 for easy knitting in the round. No complaints.

I really like these needles, they seem fairly sturdy, the only reason I gave them 4 stars is because they are wooden so not as durable as stainless steel. The only thing I have against them which is completely my fault is that they're very short. They worked for what I got them for but I honestly just expected them to be longer. Again, I overlooked the length so my fault. Otherwise no complaints, I like clover knitting needles and would by from them again, just a longer length needle.
