Gumout starting fluid works flawlessly and is one of the most reliable products for getting stubborn engines to fire up. It ignites instantly and only takes a small spray to get things running, even in freezing or damp conditions. The nozzle gives a strong, steady mist that’s easy to control, and the can design makes it simple to aim directly into the air intake. It’s perfect for small engines, mowers, bikes, or vehicles that have been sitting. The formula burns cleanly and doesn’t leave residue or foul plugs. It’s also a great backup to keep in a toolbox or truck. Five stars for effectiveness, ease of use, and consistent performance.

We got a free lawnmower that had gotten a bunch of water in it and was not working. This product was sprayed into the carburator. It took multiple sprays before the lawnmower started.I am quite impressed that it is now running like a charm! This product truly worked when I thought the lawnmower was going to be junk. I was very happy with the price!

I used a single spray of this on my 2-strone gas-powered generator because it is extremely difficult to start, especially in the winter, and even if the unit is kept warm inside prior to using. This product was able to allow me to start the generator in 1 or 2 pulls. It should be noted that this isn't a "proper" method, as it can cause long-term damage to the generator, but if you are in a pinch (which is the only time I use it), then it is fantastic. I'm happy to have discovered this trick as I lack the ability to continually pull the cord until the thing starts, due to back issues.
