Hmmm. I like a strong cup of tea and am used to Irish breakfast tea. I bought it because it was advertised as robust and it was organic. I brewed it per the instructions but was hoping for more flavor.

Was disappointed to discover that the bags now come in paper envelopes when they used to come in sealed foil ones. So in ziplocs they shall go. Apparently they also put a lot less tea in each bag than normal so I will have to use at least two per cup.Update: They're putting some kind of filler in here that makes my tongue a little numb. Reports that the tea is weak are true. Won't be buying Uncle Lee anymore. Such a shame, I used to really like it.

Unbelievably smooth
Look - this is the best bagged Chinese black tea you will find, and it is super affordable. I give it 5 star because for what this is and for what you're getting, it's fantastic. It is a very smooth tea for its price, and has that distinct Chinese black tea flavor as opposed to an English black tea, which is very nice. I should note that I drink it without any additives and I believe the Chinese tea must be drunk without milk, sugar, etc - if you are used to an English black tea and put sugar and milk in it, this tea will NOT be for you because it is mild for a black tea and is supposed to be drunk black. I let it steep a little longer in more water and it produced a nice flavor that is not too strong or not too weak either. Of course, if you are use to loose leaf premium black tea, then it may not be for you, but honestly I used to be a bit of a tea prissy person and this bridges the gap because I drink a lot and can't afford the expensive stuff all the time but honestly I don't think I will buy the expensive stuff anymore because this is just such a good compromise. If you are a tea connoisseur and like to drink a lot of tea and want a really nice flavor but can't afford the loose leaf stuff that comes in a million different flavors that you just don't know what to buy, just buy this. It is organic too! It is a win win.I drink the green tea version too and while it is quite a bit more mild, it is also a nice drink when you need a little less caffeine (but that one needs to steep a bit longer and it is a lot more mild).
A nice comforting tea
This is my second time buying this tea. Black tea has a history of being beneficial for kidney ailments. I have such a thing and I have found this to be true. I have one cup in the morning and one before bed. It helps me relax.

This tea has a great history for maintaining sharp thinking for the brain. I have been using this tea for a long time, and it does what it should do to maintain brightness remembering thoughts. This is an excellent purchase to have in your cupboard.
