This is very, very close to the old Max Factor Pancake Foundation, which I used for some 20 years or so. My favorite because you put it on with a wet sponge. This is very close, I use a small sea sponge to apply this Cream Puff Candle Glow and it covers well and color is close to my skin color. Take my advice and order you some sea sponge’s, you can get them on Bolo, but do pay attention to description as some will not be from the sea, and will be just an ordinary sponge made to look like a real sea sponge. This is really a key ingredient to getting a smooth look. I did try the 41 medium beige, but it is a very light beige. I have pretty fair skin, but the 41 was still too light.

This is not creme puff, it is a manufactored fake! Has balls of clumping and smells weird. Not to mention 2 of the 3 turned to powder and crumbled and broke! I've been using Mac Factor pancake for 40 years and I know this is a fake! Broke my whole face out!

I have used Max Factor Pan Cake Makeup since the 1980's. They are no long making this product. I have been having to pay 40-60 dollars for it on EBay. Well I got tired of paying that much for foundation so I went searching for something comparable. I found it! This product is the closest product I found. You can use the same sponge you use with the pan cake makeup and apply wet or you can use as a powder with the sponge they provide. It applies slightly different but looks good. It is darker than you would expect but ok for the summer. Also, it is smaller than the pan cake foundation, but this is not a problem for me. I am so happy I have found this product at a much more affordable price. You still get the Max factor name and quality. I recommend this product.

I've used Max Factor Pancake make-up for 65 years and was distraught when I could no longer find it! Bought this in desperation even tho I had to pay for shipping from the UK. Was amazed at how easy it was to apply (dry) and the coverage was just as good as the old pancake! Especially over the area under my eyes, where I have dark circles covered by another slightly oily product. In the container it appears lighter than the pancake, but when applied it looks the same. This listing is cheaper, has many colors and ships free. So happy to find it!

TALC is the FIRST ingredient. If I had noticed that, I would not have purchased, since my understanding is that talc is one cause of cancer.

I am 38 and now suddenly I have oily t zone and normal rest of my face. I used to have dry skin which I knew exactly how to treat but now I can’t seem to use liquid make up with out it sliding off. I started using this but in shade translucent which was far too dark for my fair complexion. So glad I found this one as it’s a perfect match! Matte finish and it lasts all day, even when I sweat like mad at work!!
