My husband LOVES to play pool. When I play against him, I make up crazy rules for him and he still wins most times even though I am an average player. His cue needed to be retipped and there is no place offering that service within 40 miles of us (I stopped looking after that). I bought these for him and he used one to retip his cue as well as his break cues and he could not be happier with the result. It's a simple process. Make sure you read up on the tools and other products you will need before you buy!

Le Pro Tips are very well put together, there good tips for house cues, and beginners and light intermediates.I install them for all my beginner students and there pretty good in a pinch if you have nothing else within yourgrasp to install.

Very basic cue tip. Inexpensive, but, does the job. It is a hard tip that softens somewhat after playing with it.

this item is not right. shows a bolt and says the item is a cue tip. not sure what is going on here.

As an old school champion from the 1970's, I understand tips. Don't get suckered in to the new style laminated layered tips. Between each layer is GLUE and AIR. Not conducive to solidity or consistency. Don't listen to someone who is using a layered tip because he is being paid. True quality products don't need paid endorsements. Le Pro's are not perfect however. About 20 out of the box are, though. How do you find the cherries? Turn them over. Inspect the base. If you find wrinkles or crevices in the leather, discard it. Use only the totally smooth ones. They come from the center of the hide, and are consistent. Even discarding over half the box, the cost is less than the sucker laminated tips. If you own a pool room, use the discards on house cues.
