I’ve been using this TheraBreath mouthwash for a while, and one of the biggest differences I’ve noticed is how comfortable my mouth feels the next day. Cured long time persistent gumline problem that no other toothpaste or mouthwash could touch
I suffered a gum infection for years that wouldn't go away, and then merely a month of Therabreath cured it. I had for a long time suffered a persistent (over a year) bad odor coming from the back gumline. I could smell my own breath, and detect the odor on the floss after flossing the crevices behind my molars. Nothing was helping, multiple toothpastes, aggressive brushing, aggressive flossing, multiple brands mouthwashes, even prescription strength, and also trying peroxide. I wasn't even expecting Therabreath (or anything else) to cure the smell at this point, I was just seeking something less harsh than the menthol+alcohol combinations. My family and I recently finished a bottle of this mouthwash. Compared to the ones I used before, this one has a much milder taste and is alcohol free, which makes it more comfortable to use. The light mint flavor is noticeable but not harsh, and it does not burn or leave my mouth feeling dry afterward. In terms of freshness, it does a good job. My breath feels clean and neutral rather than overly minty, and it works especially well in the morning or after meals. That said, the long lasting effect is not quite as strong as the label suggests. It works well, but for me it does not last all day, and I sometimes use it again later if I want that just clean feeling back.One thing that might bother some people is the taste. It is not bad, just different and a bit more clinical than typical mint mouthwashes, and it took a few uses to get used to it. Overall, it is comfortable to use, does not irritate my mouth, and does what it is meant to do.
