I had purchased the single pack and my boyfriend liked it also so I decided to buy a bulk order to keep stocked. It's a bit expensive but well worth it. Smells wonderful and makes my (as I said, severely oily) skin feel squeaky clean but not dried out. I use it multiple times throughout the day just to get rid of excess oils.This stuff has essentially replaced my 'stridex pads' altogether and seems to work so much better without the harsh burning of acids or drying out caused by alcohol.It is sort of pricey but worth it IMO. I use an old stridex container and put in a ton of cotton balls then pour some of the lemon astringent over them.... then when I want to use it I simply grab a soaked cotton ball out of the container, squeeze it out a bit, flatten slightly and then use like any other cleansing pad. Saves product and saves time of having to soak a cotton ball every time you want to use it.WARNING!!! The cap on these bottles are horrible. It has a flip-cap with a small hole but when using it liquid spills out of the cap threading. The first time I tried it I got a bath and wasted a good amount so be careful. I suggest actually unscrewing the bottle and using it like that instead of trying to squeeze out from the flip cap. You've been warned.

Love Thayer’s Lemon Witch hazel! Simple and pure. This extract does contain alcohol, so it’s good for cleaning a scrape, and cleaning your hair with a washcloth, but not as mild as the Cucumber variety, which has no alcohol, and makes a terrific aftershave... Great products!

Witch Hazel with Aloe and lemon extract combines 3 of the things skin loves best. We rub it over our entire bodies after our daily shower -- and even when there's no time for a shower, this makes me feel so fresh and good-to-go! It also seems to do away with that yucky "dry skin flaky" stuff. So healthy, so clean, so lovely. Highly recommend it to all. It is water based so super hydrating! WE LOVE IT.

If you need an astringent with alcohol like for bug bites, rashes, after shaving, to clean an oily face, this is the one.I thought it would have the fragrance of fresh lemons but it is more of the lemon verbena in it that is the main scent. Since it has alcohol, it is not meant to moisturize like the toner does. I use this brand of "toners" to even put on my hands instead of greasy hand cream that always finds its way onto my glasses.I have used this one with alcohol to clear up redness around my eye, some kind of rash or dermatitis that I had. It worked really well, soothed the itchiness, and calmed the puffiness, and felt nice and cool.Cleans makeup off too if you are sweaty and/or have oily skin.This scent is not like their peach which totally gave off a fresh peach scent, but my husband and son really like this lemon verbena one. I wish they would make the peach again.

I love this witch hazel, but it doesn't smell like witch hazel. It feels gentle on my skin and has a nice clean lemony scent. I use it as a toner on my face to tighten my pores, or to take off face makeup at night before moisturizing (not to take off eye makeup though). I also use it as a quick way to clean up and cool down after being out in the hot Florida sun. I've used it for years and highly recommend it if you like lemon scents.

This is not the first time I've bought Thayers Witch Hazel, I love the brand, but it's the first time I saw it in Lemon, and it thought this was a great deal so I got three. Usually I get either Plain or Lavender. I'm an older guy and sometimes use this as an after shave astringent, or another time as just a light fragrance or shower splash. Have used as a touch-up scent on clothes, too.Witch hazel is so good for the skin, you should try it if you have never used it. A couple of years ago I had read that you can even shampoo with it, which I've tried to great success. (It's good for those times when none of your shampoos/conditioners/or other treatments seem to be working.) Leaves your hair real soft and seems to set right whatever was the problem.

Very nice and pleasing scent with the lemon added. My grandmother used to use the WH all the time in the 50's and I remember the putrid odor and not a nice feeling on my face, as a teenager. But this product leaves you face feeling soft and moisturized. No need to wash or wipe it off, in my opinion.

Package received fairly quickly. Contents were in perfect shape.I think the product is working ok. It does have alcohol in it, which I didn't realize prior to purchase, so it can be drying to your skin. However, it smells nice, doesn't burn and if used sparingly can help to keep face fresh and pores clean.
