Lubegard Engine Flush has better features than traditional oil filters that can typically remove impurities up to 25 microns, and that's with a great filter. The most dangerous impurities to your engine are between 5 to 20 microns. These impurities are larger than the finest tolerances in your engine, but too small for oil filters to remove, causing approximately 60 percent of wear. If these harmful impurities are not flushed out with a quality flush product - sludge, tar, varnish and wear metals continue to circulate within the engine and accumulate in the passageways, oil pump and oil pan. These impurities will cause excess wear, higher operating temperatures, and reduced lubrication. After an engine is tainted, regular oil changes do little to restore its operating efficiency. The newly changed oil becomes dirty again within a short period of time, and actually helps to accelerate the formation of even more sludge and varnish. After flushing always use Lubegard bio-tech engine oil protectant (sold separately) with each oil change. It's specifically formulated to reduce engine temperatures and minimize friction and wear. Lubegard's bio-tech engine oil protectant also replenishes oil components that have been lost in the stress of operation. It will save fuel, provide a smoother, quieter and cooler engine and increase engine life. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: With a flush machine - Follow manufacturer’s directions. Without a flush machine - With the engine warm, check for the proper oil level and add new oil if necessary. Add one bottle of LUBEGARD Engine Flush and circulate at idle for 5 to 10 minutes. Stop the engine and drain as usual. Allow sufficient time for the system to drain completely. Install new oil filter and refill with new engine oil in the grade and quality level recommended by the manufacturer. For best protection and additional assurance of top performance and reduction in the formation of further sludge and varnish always use LUBEGARD BIO-TECH Engine Oil Protectant with each oil change. Note: High mileage vehicles and those that have not been maintained properly, according to their service manuals, should have the oil screen and pan examined and cleaned of accumulated dirt and wear materials. Failure to do so can reduce lubricant flow and may lead to engine damage.
