I use this stainless steel dredge shaker every time I make sourdough bread, and it’s become one of my favorite tools in the kitchen. It distributes flour evenly and lightly, which is perfect for dusting my bannetons and work surface without overdoing it. No more clumps or mess!The stainless steel is sturdy, easy to clean, and doesn’t retain odors or moisture—unlike some plastic versions I’ve tried. The lid fits snugly, so I don’t worry about spills when I’m shaking it around. It feels professional and durable, like something you’d see in a bakery.If you’re into sourdough or baking in general, this little shaker is a game changer for prepping your dough. Makes it so easy to dust the top of a dessert with powdered sugar, without it going everywhere except where you meant it to! Handy, easy to hold, easily washed, stainless steel with screw on lid - good quality. What I do not use, I dump back into the original bag and wash container out, but I suppose if one used it very frequently, they could keep it in the container. Would work for spice combinations for casseroles, pizzas, etc. too, as long as the spice was small enough to fit through the holes. A handy kitchen gadget that I have used several times already - and bought a second one for a gift.

I bought this shaker to use with some movie theater popcorn salt that came in a carton. The flow is very heavy so it isn't exactly perfect for that and requires a deft touch (or really salty popcorn) but it still does the trick ok. Seems to be made well and I haven't had any trouble with the lid not staying on. The sticker that came on it was right on the top and was actually quite the pain in the butt to get all of the gunk off of.

We have a little covered wooden bowls, affectionately called Covid salt, for our salt and pepper but my daughter wanted a salt shaker so after looking at multiple reviews and shakers I decided on this one. I didn’t think it would make much of a difference but it’s pretty awesome. It shakes out the perfect amount of salt and I’m quite impressed. I’ve been using it instead of our Covid salt. Highly recommend – this is the one.

I expect decent quality from Winco products, but at the price, I'm still surprised by just how heavy the metal in this shaker is! Also, the tolerances for the screw lid are really tight, making it easy to get on and off.

I use this for sprinkling glitter on projects. I have to tape over most of the holes to give me control over the amount, but it works fine and much sturdier than the aluminum one I used before.

Strong, stylish, and capable
I use this stainless steel dredge (Bolo has the name pluralized at the time of this writing but you will receive only 1 dredge per order unless you purchase more) for pouring Flavocol popcorn seasoning (also sold on Bolo) onto my popcorn. And for that, this dredge does an admirable job. The holes are evenly spaced and mine were properly machined so as to as smooth and polished as the main body of the dredge. The handle is basic but securely attached and does not move when the dredge is full of your preferred product. Overall I would recommend this dredge if you are in the market for a strong attractive vessel to store your seasonings. Recommended. 5/5
very useful but a little cheap
great for flouring work surfaces, holes are a bit big for powdered sugar though. handle and screw cap feel a little cheap as is reflected in the price. easily holds a cup of flour. overall serves it's function very well, this isn't a bad way to go if you need one of these.
