(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Three reasons I bought the 3oz size of WD-40...*I carry a smaller tool bag in my maintenance position (16-inch bag).It took me quite a long time to get everything consolidated down to having everything I needed and didn't need.This 3oz. can for it's size efficiency without compromising tool storage...thankful for many years.*This size (pardon my language) became a real pain in the ass to find locally.My NAPA Auto Parts store quit carrying it due to lack of sales.Home Depot only carries the large size.Wal-Mart used to be a reliable source then quit carrying it.At that point I would have settled for the equal sized can of their Super Tech brand of lubricant...then that vanished.This is over a period of four years going on a search like it was rare or something.*You can never use too much lube (no pun intended).Everything I service I always lubricate the screws in case I have to disassemble it again.Some of the stuff I service hasn't been touched since the 70's and 80's...they're that old.You can try other brands if desired but good old WD-40 has always been very effective.Either it be tight rusty screws or shielding rust from collecting on a 1095 Carbon Tool Steel bladed knife?...damned good stuff.Highly recommended if you love the 3oz size of WD-40 as much as I do!

Door used to squeak. This fixed it in seconds. Smells great too. Don't need a jumbo sized can, 3 oz is more than enough.

What can I say about WD-40 other than how fun it is? Spray your leather passenger car seat so that your Sister-In-Law slides right down to the floor. Spray it on a grassy hill for a great slip-n-slide for the kids. Fun to spray on your teachers tires and then watch them try to drive away as their tires spin. Works fantastic on the bats of the opposing baseball team. Perfect for college students to spray on toilet seats and then listen to their friends slide onto the bathroom floor. Coat your friends bicycle wheels and brakes with this stuff and watch the fun! Funnest stuff since silly putty!

My grandmother asked me to come over to her house and replace her front door lock. The key had become almost impossible to turn. I sprayed a tiny bit of WD-40 inside the lock and the key worked like new again or maybe even better. It is now smooth as glass. I had saved so much time, I was able to go around her house and spray all the creaking door hinges. Now all of her doors are completely silent when they open and close. Grandmaw is very happy. I tell my kids that every toolbox should have a small can of WD-40 in it.
