This rubber runner is great. We needed something to cover our deck from the door to the stairs to the yard. Our dogs scratch that area of the deck up really bad and we kept having to restain it. Our deck is 20 feet from the door to the stairs so this was perfect. It laid completely flat right out of the box except one end. After a day in the sun that end is flat too. Dogs have run on it and it seems very durable so far. I thought I would have to tack it down but so far it's stayed in place without it. It's very grippy but havent tested it wet yet. And yes the rubber smell is strong but after a day or two out in the sun the smell is almost gone. Definitely recommended.

I unrolled this mat and realized it smelled like rubber! I left it outside for a couple days, the smell subsided, its now inside and my house doesn't smell like rubber. I used this to make a doggy-door (my xl sized dog cant fit through standard dog doors). The remaining bits are used in conjunction with a more absorbent mat to clean my pooch's paws as he comes in the house. Great product with a lot of potential uses.

Perfect for your workbench. I put down a roll of this stuff to add a layer of protection so the wood doesn't get chewed up and saturated with oil, gasoline and grit. First I used a dry scrub brush on the wood surface and vacuumed up the debris then I just rolled it out. My bench is about 35" wide instead of 36" because of a backer board, so the runner overhangs slightly which is OK. There are four 20-foot sections and I wanted to try it on one section. I have been contemplating going another more expensive route for workbench covering, but now I think this may be the best solution. The weight of the runner seems to hold it in place with no glue and I don't want to use staples. Mine was about 6" longer than stated - about 20' 6". As the other reviewer said, there are slight imperfections in the rubber surface, but for my purposes it's just fine.

My husband made a double dog kennel for in the house. We used this as the base for the floor to protect our carpet and flooring. They're still pups and have oopsies. Works great for what we needed. Its easy to clean. I really appreciated the toughness and thickness of it because of that and the size it lays very flat. We are going to purchase another for a runner while its muddy outside so they dont track mud in the house.

Love it. I am using it as a truck bed mat in my Chevy Colorado. I trimmed it for the wheel wells and for length using some utility scissors. I have had spray in liners in all of my previous trucks and decided to save a few bucks and try this route for a bit to see how it goes. Dedicated truck bed mats marketed as such cost quite a bit more, this mat keeps items from sliding around the truck bed and adds a degree of protection. The rubber smell is very strong, but should dissipate over time. I have it under a toneau cover so it was overwhelming the first few times I opened my tailgate.

Perfect ... Mitigates Icy Concrete Surface
Love this mat, though super heavy to get from the post office. Placed across concrete patio that tends to ice over with the least bit of moisture … rubber mat stops ice from forming and ribbed surface provides added traction. Cut with a carpet knife for custom fit. Very good quality mat; extremely pleased with my purchase. Am ordering another as a Christmas gift, it's that good!
