I used Aveda Mosscara in brown for over a decade until it was discontinued. Hadn’t found anything good until now.Brown is great. have fair, freckled skin and green eyes and black mascara just looks bad on me.I like a natural look. This stuff goes on smoothly and as heavily as most mascaras. I use one coat.No flaking!No clumps!Stays put on my lashes - doesn’t bleed onto my skin!Doesn’t sting my eyes!Removes easily - I use Cetaphil Gentle Skin CleanserGrateful to have a new go-to mascara!

The color is def a dark brown, it’s darker than smokin’ topaz (brown) eyeliner by nyx (not so good on my sensitive eyes) so I’m still on the hunt. The tube’s squeegee works well. I only apply one swipe so I can’t comment how well it lengthens beyond that, but seems to work as described although I noticed more thickening than lengthening. It didn't transfer, flake or make my lashes clump together so I’ll keep using it until I find a not so black brown. New the tube weighed 22.2g outside of the mfr box (I’ve unfortunately been a recipient of counterfeit products in the past, not by Clinique tho)
