I have been buying a 3 pack which was less expensive.

These are a great substitute for chocolate chips. I am on the AIP Protocol way of life. No dairy, sugar and red meat. There are also some spices that are not allowed. These are perfect to add to my AIP banana muffins.

used these in pumpkin chocolate chip loaf, couldn't tell the difference between carob chips and chocolate chips. Good product if you cannot have caffeine that is in regular chocolate. Tastes good.

Hard to put down. I have bought this countless times and I've enjoyed it everytime. It has such a nice flavor and is a nice chocolate substitute, which is nice because I can't have chocolate.

I eat these Carob Chips as snacks. They are very sweet and a nice alternate to chocolate, for those that need to avoid caffeine. They have a maple syrup like flavor. Everything about the flavor and chips themselves are great. If they make a slightly less sweetened version as well, it would also be great, too (the sweetness can be overpowering at times).The one downfall was that it was quite hot out when they were delivered. Because they didn’t account for the heat in the packaging, and it was dropped off outside the front door, they were fully melted together when I got them (which was less than a few hours after drop off: I had just come home from work). As you can see in the picture, it turned into a “nutella” like substance. Still tasted really good, but became much harder to eat and store in this condition, since freezing it turned it into a solid block of carob, which isn’t great for snacking.My suggestion is packing it with ice or some sort of cold compress/insulation in the box during the summer months, to avoid people receiving it in a completely melted state, like I did.
